SRAM NX Eagle 12-Speed Chain — 126-Link Gray with PowerLock, FLOW LINK for smooth precise shifting

The SRAM NX Eagle 12-speed chain is a 126-link, gray-finished drivetrain chain that includes an Eagle PowerLock connector for quick, secure installation and reliable shifting across 12-speed Eagle systems.

This chain is engineered to work seamlessly with SRAM Eagle drivetrains, delivering consistent performance for trail, enduro, and daily-ride bikes. Its FLOW LINK design and Eagle PowerLock connector focus on improved chain retention and reduced wear on cassettes and chainrings. The neutral gray finish resists grime visibility while blending into most drivetrain colorways.

How does this chain improve shifting and chain retention?

The NX Eagle chain is built to match Eagle cassette geometry so each shift is precise and predictable. FLOW LINK shaping helps the chain engage and exit cogs smoothly, while the PowerLock connector ensures the link stays secure under load.

• FLOW LINK profile minimizes chain bounce and helps keep it centered on the cassette.
• Precisely spaced 12-speed plates for consistent gear indexing.
• PowerLock provides a strong, reusable connecting link for tool-free assembly.

What durability features extend chain life?

Materials and plate geometry are optimized to resist everyday wear and the lateral forces of modern wide-range drivetrains. The NX chain aims to protect expensive cassettes and rings by balancing strength with smooth articulation.

• Hard-wearing plate finishes and controlled tolerances reduce accelerated wear.
• Plate shaping distributes load across pins and rollers to lower abrasion.
• Factory assembly with PowerLock reduces installation errors that can cause premature failure.

Is this chain compatible with my drivetrain and how easy is installation?

This chain is compatible with all SRAM Eagle 12-speed systems and is designed to pair with Eagle cassettes and chainrings. The included PowerLock connector simplifies joining chain ends, allowing many riders to install or remove the chain without special tools.

• Built for SRAM 12-speed Eagle drivetrains—works with Eagle cassettes and rings.
• 126-link length provides flexibility for most frame and gearing setups; trims down to fit.
• PowerLock connector allows quick assembly/disassembly for maintenance or wheel removal.

How do I size and maintain the chain for best performance?

Measure chain fitment after routing through the drivetrain and around the largest cog and chainring, then remove excess links. Regular lubrication and cleaning help preserve smooth shifting and extend component life.

• Fit by wrapping chain around largest ring and cog, add two links, then cut to fit.
• Use a compatible chain tool or PowerLock for safe joining and removal.
• Keep chain clean and lightly lubricated to reduce wear and noise.

Who is this for: Riders upgrading or replacing a 12-speed Eagle drivetrain who want a ready-to-install chain that balances durability, smooth shifting, and easy maintenance. It suits weekend trail riders, commuters who prefer low-maintenance parts, and riders on a budget seeking OEM-compatible performance without specialty coatings or high-end weight savings.
