Stansport Portable Camping Toilet — Foldable Steel-Leg Travel Toilet, Model 271 with Disposable Bag Ring

Stansport Portable Toilet is a compact, foldable camping and boating toilet with a molded plastic seat, heavy-duty steel legs, and removable ring for quick bag disposal.

If you need a simple, reliable toilet solution for camping, boating, RVing, or emergency use, the Stansport Portable Toilet (model 271) delivers a no-frills, durable option that packs small. Built from a molded plastic seat and tubular steel frame, it provides a stable seating surface and folds flat for transport. The included disposable bags snap into place with a removable plastic ring so waste containment and disposal stay straightforward and hygienic.

How sturdy and stable is this portable toilet?

The Stansport Portable Toilet uses heavy-duty tubular steel legs designed to support everyday use and a variety of outdoor surfaces. The molded seat locks into the frame to reduce wobble, and rubberized feet help prevent slipping on wet or uneven ground.

• Steel tubular legs rated to support up to 200 lbs for typical adult use
• Molded plastic seat shaped for comfort and to fit securely on the frame
• Non-slip feet that increase traction on campsite, deck, or boat surfaces

How do the disposable bags and removable ring work?

The toilet accepts plastic containment bags that stretch over the bowl opening and are held firmly by a removable plastic ring. When a bag is full, lift out the ring and tie off the bag for sanitary disposal—no difficult cleaning of a fixed bowl required.

• Includes six plastic disposable bags to get started
• Removable ring secures bags evenly for less spillage risk
• Quick-change system minimizes direct contact and simplifies cleanup

How portable is it for travel and storage?

The Stansport toilet folds flat for compact storage in a trunk, locker, or RV compartment, and its lightweight frame makes it easy to carry to campsites or docks. Setup and breakdown take only seconds, making it practical for day trips or multi-night outings.

• Folds compactly to save space in vehicles and gear lockers
• Lightweight steel and plastic construction for easier transport
• Fast one-person setup and teardown without tools

What surfaces and environments is it suitable for?

Designed for camping, boating, RVing, tailgating, and emergency backup, the Stansport Portable Toilet performs well on tent platforms, gravel, docks, and hard surfaces. It’s not a fixed plumbing solution but provides a reliable, temporary sanitation option wherever a portable loo is needed.

• Works on campsite ground, boat decks, RV platforms, and patios
• Not intended for permanent in-home installation or plumbing connections
• Suitable for short-term or seasonal use and emergency preparedness kits

Who is this for? The Stansport Portable Toilet is aimed at campers, boaters, RV owners, tailgaters, and anyone who needs a compact, no-fuss sanitation option away from permanent restroom facilities. It’s a practical pick for individuals and families seeking a budget-friendly solution that’s simple to set up, easy to clean using disposable bags, and small enough to store between trips.
