Streamlight Bandit Pro Rechargeable Headlamp, Black — 180 lumens USB‑Rechargeable Diffused Flood

The Streamlight 61714 Bandit Pro is a compact, USB-rechargeable headlamp that delivers up to 180 lumens of diffused flood light for reliable hands-free work.

Designed for mechanics, DIYers, and outdoor users who need steady close-range illumination, the Bandit Pro combines a durable polycarbonate housing with a sealed lithium-polymer battery and three selectable light modes. Its low-profile design, adjustable elastic strap, and snap-in hat clip give flexible mounting options, while an easy-to-use push-button and low-battery indicator keep operation simple even when wearing gloves.

How bright is the Beam and how long will it run?

The headlamp produces two steady output levels: a high setting for concentrated tasks and a low setting for extended use. High provides 180 lumens for detailed up-close work, while low drops to 35 lumens for prolonged illumination.

• High: 180 lumens, up to about 4.5 hours runtime
• Low: 35 lumens, up to about 21 hours runtime
• Emergency flash mode for attention or signaling
• Wide, diffused COB beam reduces shadows for close-in tasks

What power and charging features does the Bandit Pro have?

The Bandit Pro uses an internal sealed lithium-polymer battery that charges via USB, so you can recharge from a power bank, car USB port, or wall charger. A built-in low-battery indicator will blink when roughly five minutes of runtime remain, helping you plan a recharge before the light fails.

• USB-rechargeable battery finishes a full charge in about 3.5 hours
• Sealed battery design minimizes exposure to dust and moisture
• Low-battery blinking alert for timely recharging
• Simple single large push-button for gloved operation

How rugged and weather-resistant is it for job-site use?

Built to handle knocks and splashes, the Bandit Pro pairs impact-resistant polycarbonate construction with an IPX4 water-resistance rating. It has been drop-tested to 2 meters, making it suitable for workshop, garage, and outdoor tasks where bumps and light rain are possible.

• Impact-resistant polycarbonate body and lens withstand rough handling
• 2-meter impact testing for durability on jobsites
• IPX4-rated for protection against splashing water and light weather
• Compact, lightweight shape reduces fatigue during long wear

How can I wear and aim the light for the task at hand?

The headlamp comes with an adjustable elastic headstrap for direct head mounting and a snap-in hat clip for attaching to a baseball cap brim. The hat clip provides a bit of downward angle, and the elastic strap lets you position the lamp for a comfortable, secure fit.

• Adjustable elastic headstrap fits a range of head sizes comfortably
• Snap-in hat clip for brim mounting and downward adjustment
• Low-profile housing sits close to the head for stability
• Large push-button allows quick mode selection while working

Who this is for: The Streamlight Bandit Pro is aimed at anyone who needs dependable, hands-free illumination—automotive and motorcycle technicians, home mechanics, hobbyists, outdoor enthusiasts, and emergency kit builders. If you want a lightweight, rechargeable lamp that resists everyday impacts and weather, offers selectable runtimes, and mounts on a head or hat with an easy-to-use control, the Bandit Pro is a practical choice.
