Sun-Glo Shuffleboard Speed Bundle: Speed 1 Powder 16oz & Pro Silicone Spray 12oz — Tournament-Grade Glide

Sun-Glo Ultimate Speed Bundle pairs the fastest Speed 1 Super Glide powder with the Pro Series Silicone Spray to create tournament-grade glide on 14–22 ft shuffleboard tables.

Built for players who demand extreme slide and consistent performance, this two-piece kit provides the surface prep and pure-silicone lubricant needed to convert a slow or worn board into a professional-level playing field. The silicone spray cleans and seals microscopic finish flaws, and the Speed 1 Super Glide powder uses pure silicone beads to minimize friction so weights carry full length on long tables.

How does the Pro Series Silicone Spray prepare my table for maximum speed?

The spray functions as both a cleaner and a micro-polish that fills tiny scratches and unevenness in the finish. Applied before powder, it creates a smooth, low-friction base so the silicone beads in Speed 1 glide rather than grind. This prep step prevents tracking and helps maintain a uniform surface across the entire playing length.

• Removes dust, oils, and residue that cause drag.
• Fills microscopic imperfections to create a glass-like barrier.
• Promotes even bead roll and reduces powder loss into the wood.
• Extends the usable life of the powder application between reworks.

What makes Speed 1 Super Glide powder ideal for long (14–22 ft) tables?

Speed 1 is formulated from pure silicone beads rather than cornmeal or mixed fillers. Those tiny, round beads dramatically lower friction and maintain momentum so weights travel farther with lighter pushes—exactly what long tables require. The result is predictable, high-speed play suitable for advanced shots and competitive formats.

• Pure silicone composition for minimal surface resistance.
• Engineered bead size to carry weights across regulation-length surfaces.
• Consistent glide for banking, tap-ins, and finesse shots.
• Works best over a properly prepped Pro Series Silicone base.

How should I apply the bundle for consistent, tournament-ready results?

Start by spraying a light, even coat of the Pro Series Silicone Spray and wiping any excess so the finish is satin and smooth. Shake and lightly dust the Speed 1 powder across the playing surface, then spread and buff to create a uniform layer. Test a few practice shots and reapply small amounts of powder where needed to maintain an even glide.

• Spray and wipe to create a thin, sealed surface layer.
• Dispense Speed 1 evenly from the shaker; avoid clumps.
• Buff gently to distribute beads and remove high spots.
• Perform short practice runs before competitive play to dial amount.

Will this bundle damage table finishes or require special maintenance?

When used as directed, the Pro Series Silicone Spray is intended to protect and preserve the finish by filling micro-imperfections rather than abrading them. The silicone beads sit on top of the prepared surface; routine maintenance involves occasional re-spraying and powder touch-ups rather than stripping finishes. Avoid over-application and always test on a small area if your table has an unusual coating.

• Use sparingly—thin coats protect without build-up.
• Reapply spray and powder as normal maintenance, not heavy cleaning products.
• Test on a hidden area for nonstandard finishes.
• Periodic full cleaning recommended for heavily used tables.
