SuperStroke CounterCore Flatso 1.0 Putter Grip White/Blue — Pentagonal No-Taper with Adjustable Weight and Cross-Traction

The SuperStroke CounterCore Flatso 1.0 is a pentagonal, no-taper putter grip with adjustable CounterCore weights and Cross-Traction texture designed to improve consistency in your putting stroke.

This grip pairs a flat-front pentagonal profile with SuperStroke’s CounterCore adjustable-weight tech and No Taper design to promote a quieter lower hand, reduce grip pressure, and stabilize the stroke. Built from high-tack compound and finished with Cross-Traction surface texture, the Flatso 1.0 offers a balance of feel and traction in a compact, 1.10" diameter format. At 10.50" length and about 50g (with the .580R core), it fits most standard putters and supports fine-tuning with 25g, 50g or 75g inserts for personal feel preferences.

How does the pentagonal Flatso shape affect my putting?

The pentagonal profile creates a pronounced flat front and multiple edges that help you find the same hand positions consistently. That geometry encourages a square face at address and discourages wrist breakdown during the stroke, which can lead to more reliable roll.

• Wider flat-front for repeatable hand placement
• Edge geometry provides tactile reference points
• Supports face alignment and prevents unwanted wrist movement

What does CounterCore adjustable weighting do for feel and tempo?

CounterCore lets you insert different weight modules to change head-to-hands mass distribution. Heavier inserts increase pendulum stability and tempo, while lighter configurations leave the putter feeling nimble; you can tune to your preferred stroke dynamics without changing shafts or head weight.

• Swap 25g, 50g, or 75g inserts (sold separately) to alter swingweight
• Use heavier weight for smoother, more pendulum-like strokes
• Use lighter settings for quicker, more responsive feels

Why choose No Taper and Cross-Traction surface together?

No Taper Technology keeps the lower hand profile uniform so your hands don’t squeeze unevenly; combined with Cross-Traction texture, the grip remains secure without excess pressure. The result is a quieter lower hand and consistent hand pressure from putt to putt, even in damp conditions.

• No Taper reduces the urge to grip tightly by keeping diameter consistent
• Cross-Traction pattern increases non-slip contact without harsh abrasion
• High-tack compound balances comfortable feel and stable traction

What are the basic specs and how will they fit my putter?

The Flatso 1.0 measures 1.10" in diameter and 10.50" in length, weighing roughly 50g with a .580R core. These dimensions suit players who prefer a compact, slightly larger-than-staff-size grip with a distinct flat face for alignment and hand placement cues.

• Diameter: 1.10" for a compact yet substantial feel
• Length: 10.50" fits most blade and mid-mallet putters
• Weight: ~50g standard; compatible with CounterCore weight inserts

Who is this for? The SuperStroke CounterCore Flatso 1.0 is aimed at golfers who want a compact, alignment-focused grip that reduces hand manipulation and lets them tune head-to-hand balance. It’s a good match for players seeking improved consistency, those who prefer a flatter front reference for hand placement, or anyone wanting to experiment with adjustable weighting to refine tempo and stability.
