Swiss Safe Mylar Emergency Blankets 4-Pack — Orange & Green, Compact Insulated Survival Sheets

Swiss Safe 4 Pack Mylar Emergency Blankets are ultra-compact, dual-sided aluminized survival blankets designed to reflect body heat, block moisture, and provide lightweight shelter during outdoor activities or emergencies.

These blankets combine military-grade mylar construction with a compact footprint so you can stash reliable thermal protection in backpacks, car kits, or first-aid packs. Each sheet is lightweight, tear-resistant, and laminated to resist water and wind, offering a practical layer of protection in sudden weather changes, roadside emergencies, or any situation where warmth and dryness matter.

How do these blankets help when temperatures drop?

The aluminized surfaces reflect radiant heat back toward the body and reduce convective heat loss in wind. While not a substitute for insulated clothing, they add a critical barrier that helps preserve warmth and reduce exposure in cold or wet conditions.

• Dual-sided aluminized layer reflects radiant heat.
• Thin, wind-resistant barrier cuts convective cooling.
• Compact size lets you deploy quickly as a wrap or layer.

Are these safe and durable enough for outdoor use?

Constructed from 12-micron aluminized polyethylene mylar, the blankets balance light weight with tear resistance for dependable short-term use outdoors. They hold up well as emergency shelter, ground cover, or a barrier under wet gear, but should not replace structural tents in prolonged exposure or severe storms.

• Military-grade mylar resists tearing and abrasion.
• Waterproof laminate blocks rain and snow infiltration.
• Use as groundsheet, makeshift shelter, or gear protector.

How compact are these and where should I store them?

Each blanket folds down to a fraction of its open size, making it simple to tuck into glove compartments, emergency go-bags, or hydration packs. The included bonus space blanket is even smaller and ideal for quick-access storage in vehicles or first-aid kits.

• Ultra-compact—fits in pockets, packs, or car consoles.
• Bonus smaller space blanket for glove compartment storage.
• Lightweight design keeps overall kit weight low.

How can I use these blankets beyond staying warm?

Mylar emergency blankets are versatile tools: they work as an emergency shelter, reflective signal, ground cover, or waterproof layer to protect equipment. Their bright orange and green colors also improve visibility during rescues or roadside stops.

• Lay under sleeping pads to block ground moisture.
• Create a quick tarp or shelter for wind and rain protection.
• Use bright colors for signaling or increasing your visibility.

Who is this for? The Swiss Safe 4 Pack Mylar Emergency Blankets are designed for hikers, campers, runners, drivers, emergency responders, and anyone who wants a lightweight, reliable layer for unexpected weather or roadside incidents. They suit minimalist adventurers who value low-weight gear, families building home emergency kits, and community members preparing donation packs for homeless outreach.
