TacPreps Bug Out Bag 45L Backpack Survival Kit, 2 Persons (Elite Kit) with 72‑Hour Food, Water & First Aid

TacPreps Bug Out Bag Backpack Survival Kit is a fully stocked 72-hour emergency system in a 45L tactical pack designed to support one to two people with food, water, shelter, first aid and tools.

This ready-made survival kit bundles a rugged, water-resistant 45L backpack with freeze-dried food, emergency water pouches and a portable filter, shelter and warmth items, a compact IFAK first-aid set, illumination and communications, plus multi-tools and repair supplies. The pack is built for quick grab-and-go situations — whether you’re prepping for home emergencies, keeping a go-bag in the car, or taking a compact survival kit on outdoor trips.

What essentials come inside and how long will they last?

The TacPreps kit is organized to sustain one to two people for roughly 72 hours, combining calorie-dense emergency rations, water pouches and a field water filter with basic medical supplies and shelter. Items are shelf-stable and sized for short-term survival and evacuation needs.

• Freeze-dried meals and emergency food bars for compact, long-lasting nutrition
• Twelve sealed emergency water pouches plus a portable water filter for sourcing liquids
• IFAK first-aid supplies for minor wounds, plus gloves and duct tape for quick repairs
• Emergency tent, bivy bags, blankets and rain ponchos to protect against weather

How does the 45L backpack perform during travel or evacuation?

The backpack is built from water-resistant fabric with padded shoulder straps and multiple compartments so you can carry the kit comfortably over distance while keeping gear organized. Its 45-liter volume strikes a balance between capacity and mobility — large enough for essential supplies yet compact enough for vehicles and trail use.

• Multiple compartments separate food, medical, and tools for easy access
• Padded straps and back support for extended carry comfort
• Water-resistant exterior to help protect contents in wet conditions
• Extra room for personal items, medications, or custom gear

Which survival tools and communications are included, and how will they help?

TacPreps supplies practical hand tools, navigation aids and a combined solar/hand-crank radio-light for basic communications and signaling. The kit focuses on immediate, tactical needs like shelter, fire, illumination and simple repairs rather than specialized long-term gear.

• Multitool, folding saw and work gloves for cutting and repairs
• Compass with whistle to help with orientation and signaling
• Rechargeable headlamps and a solar/hand-crank radio with built-in light for power-independent illumination and information
• 30 ft paracord, zip ties and duct tape for shelter, rigging and fixes

How should I use the water and food items safely?

Use the sealed emergency water pouches for immediate hydration; rely on the portable filter to treat water from natural sources following the manufacturer’s instructions. Consume emergency meals and bars per package directions and store the kit in a cool, dry place to preserve shelf life.

• Drink from sealed water pouches first, then filter natural water sources when needed
• Follow meal package instructions for rehydration and calorie information
• Check expiry dates periodically and rotate perishable items into regular use
• Keep medications and personal items separate and accessible inside the pack
