TANSTRIDER Trekking Pole for Women & Men, Purple, 43–53 in Adjustable 7075 Aluminum Hiking Pole — Tri-Fold, Lightweight and Packable for Travel

These poles combine aerospace-grade 7075 aluminum with an ultra-compact tri-fold hinge and sweat-wicking EVA grips to help hikers, backpackers, and travelers maintain balance on uneven ground without carrying extra bulk. They’re designed to be stable on rocky trails, adjustable for multiple heights, and comfortable for long outings thanks to an extended foam sleeve and ergonomic handles.

How do these poles improve stability on rough trails?

The TANSTRIDER poles use 7075 aluminum for increased impact resistance and torsional strength compared with lower-grade metals. That material choice, plus solid locking hardware, reduces wobble and increases confidence when stepping on loose rock, mud, or steep sections.

• 7075 aerospace-grade aluminum shaft for strength and durability
• Secure locking mechanism to prevent unintended collapse
• Tungsten or rubber tips (included) adapt to rock and pavement
• Extended lower grip for added control on steep climbs

What makes the tri-fold design travel-friendly?

The poles fold into three compact segments and collapse to 14.5 inches, small enough for a daypack or carry-on. The tri-fold hinges are made to stow quickly and deploy fast, so you can switch between trekking and packing without fuss.

• Tri-fold mechanism folds into a 14.5-inch compact size
• Lightweight 9.5 oz per pole minimizes pack weight
• Breaks down for easy storage in backpacks or luggage
• Quick assembly so you can return poles to full length on the trail

Are they adjustable and comfortable for different users?

Yes—the poles extend from 43 to 53 inches with a positive locking system so you can tailor length for walking, uphill, and downhill use. Ergonomic EVA foam grips wick sweat and reduce hand fatigue, while an extended sleeve gives options for alternate hand positions.

• Adjustable 43"–53" range fits most adults
• Secure lock for consistent posture and knee protection
• Anti-slip EVA foam handles with sweat absorption
• Lightweight construction eases arm strain on long hikes

How should I prepare the poles before first use?

Follow the included illustrated instructions when unfolding and locking the tri-fold sections. Pull the third section downward until the button locks, inspect each joint, and ensure all locking buttons are engaged before placing weight on the poles.

• Refer to picture 3 instructions for safe deployment
• Pull SECTION 3 down until the locking button pops up
• Confirm all sections are fully locked before use
• Store dry and clean to preserve locks and grips
