Creating the Difference Hook Monster bowling ball cleaner 8 oz, extra-strength for reactive resin, restores tack

That Wow Factor Hook Monster is an extra-strength 8 oz bowling ball cleaner spray that strips oil and grime to restore tack and increase hook on reactive resin balls for use before and after competition.

Whether you're polishing lane performance or getting a fresh roll before league night, That Wow Factor Hook Monster (HM) is a concentrated ball cleaner from Creating the Difference built to remove oil, dirt and belt marks while returning tacky surface feel. Formulated specifically for reactive resin coverstocks, this spray accelerates oil absorption back into the ball for stronger backend motion without altering the ball’s core or finish when used as directed.

How quickly will I see more hook after using this cleaner?

Most bowlers notice improved backend motion immediately after properly wiping the ball with Hook Monster. The formula draws surface oil into the coverstock, restoring traction so your ball reads the lane sooner and revs into the pocket with increased angularity.

• Apply to a towel or CTD pad, then wipe evenly around the ball.
• Allow the surface to dry briefly before rolling for best results.
• Results can be seen right away in lane reaction and feel.

Is That Wow Factor Hook Monster safe for my reactive resin bowling ball?

Yes — Hook Monster was engineered for reactive resin coverstocks and is USBC-approved for use before and after competition. It removes contaminants and restores tack without harsh abrasives, provided you follow application instructions.

• Designed for reactive resin balls, not for altering core weight.
• Safe to use before/after competition per USBC rules.
• Avoid excessive scrubbing or prolonged soaking; use as directed.

How do I use this spray for the best, most consistent results?

For predictable performance, spray Hook Monster on a clean microfiber towel or a CTD pad and wipe the ball in overlapping passes. Work across the entire surface to remove oil and belt marks, then let the ball air briefly so the surface regains tack before your next shot.

• Spray lightly onto towel or pad, not directly into finger holes.
• Wipe full circumference with consistent pressure until visibly clean.
• Re-wipe during long sessions or between games for steady reaction.

Will this help bowlers at every level?

Yes — from weekend league players to touring professionals, maintaining a clean, tacky surface improves predictability and hook potential. Top players and amateurs alike use CTD products to keep equipment performing consistently under changing lane conditions.

• Beneficial for bowlers aiming for more backend motion.
• Useful in both practice and competition settings.
• Compact 8 oz spray fits easily in a bowling bag for quick touch-ups.
