Threlaco Emergency Candles 36 Pack White Pillar Candles, 1.25 x 3.5 in, Long Burn Low-Drip

Threlaco 36 Pack Emergency Candles are bulk white pillar candles designed to provide reliable, long-burning light for power outages, camping and emergency kits.

These compact pillar candles come in a pack of 36, each sized roughly 1.25 x 3.5 inches and finished in a clean white. Built with a high melt point wax and a carefully calibrated cotton wick, they are intended for low-drip performance and steady flame height. Use them in lanterns or on their own for indoor or outdoor light when electricity is unavailable or when you need dependable illumination during trips and emergencies.

How long will each Threlaco candle burn in different settings?

Burn time varies with airflow and containment. In a protective candle lantern, a single candle can reach up to about 15 hours; in open air, expect roughly 9–12 hours depending on conditions such as wind and draft.

• Lantern use: up to 15 hours per candle
• Open-air burn: approximately 9–12 hours per candle
• Smaller enclosed holders may slightly extend burn time
• Wind and drafts will shorten burning duration

Are these candles suitable for outdoor adventures and survival kits?

Yes—these candles are designed with portability and longevity in mind for outdoor uses like camping, backpacking, and emergency survival situations. Their compact size and long burn time make them practical for adding light and a small measure of warmth to a campsite or emergency shelter.

• Compact 1.25 x 3.5 inch pillars fit standard lanterns and small holders
• Long burn time supports overnight and multi-hour needs
• Minimal dripping helps reduce mess in tents and shelters
• 36-count bulk pack keeps extra candles on hand for extended trips

Will these candles drip or create soot on surfaces and fabric?

Threlaco candles are formulated with a higher melt point wax and a cotton wick sized for a steady flame, which helps reduce dripping and sooting versus lower-quality alternatives. Proper placement in a suitable holder or lantern further limits wax spatter and surface staining.

• High melt temperature wax reduces excessive dripping
• Cotton wick promotes stable flame height and cleaner burn
• Use in lanterns or drip-catching holders to protect surfaces
• Trim wick before lighting to minimize soot and smoke

How should I store and handle these emergency candles safely?

Store the candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources to preserve shape and performance. When burning, always use a stable, non-flammable holder, keep away from drafts, and never leave a burning candle unattended.

• Keep in original packaging or sealed container to avoid dust
• Store away from heat to prevent warping or softening
• Burn on heat-resistant surfaces and keep clear of flammable items
• Extinguish fully before leaving the candle unattended
