TYR Blackhawk racing goggles Mirrored, Silver/Metal Silver/Black — low-drag racing fit with wide peripheral vision

TYR Blackhawk Racing Goggles are low-profile, competition-focused swim goggles engineered for minimal drag, wide peripheral vision, and a secure, customizable fit.

Built for swimmers who demand speed and reliable sightlines, these goggles combine a hydrodynamic shape with wide-angle lenses and durable DURAFIT silicone gaskets. The Blackhawk pairs anti-fog, UV-protected polycarbonate lenses with multiple nose pieces and dual straps so you can fine-tune fit and stability for races, sprint sets, and open-water starts.

How do these goggles reduce drag and improve race performance?

The Blackhawk's low-profile silhouette sits close to the face to cut water resistance and streamline your head position. A snug lens-to-eye seal lowers turbulence around the eye sockets so every stroke encounters less resistance.

• Low-profile, racing-specific frame for minimized frontal area
• Close-to-eye fit reduces water flow around lenses
• Hydrodynamic lens shape designed to slice through water smoothly

Will I get clear peripheral vision for turns and pack swimming?

Yes — the lenses are engineered with an extended field of view so you can spot lane lines, competitors and walls without excessive head movement. That wider visual range helps maintain orientation during flip turns and bulked starts.

• Wide-angle lenses increase situational awareness at speed
• Clear optics help track walls and swimmers with minimal head adjustment
• Quality polycarbonate maintains clarity under different lighting

How do the goggles stay watertight and comfortable through starts and turns?

TYR uses DURAFIT silicone gaskets that provide a resilient, leak-resistant seal while remaining comfortable for repeated races and long training sessions. The dual-strap system and five adjustable nose pieces let you create a personalized fit that resists slipping during dives and tumble turns.

• DURAFIT silicone gaskets for a durable watertight seal
• Dual straps attach securely to caps for additional hold
• Five interchangeable nose bridge sizes for precise spacing

Are these goggles suitable for indoor and outdoor racing?

Blackhawk lenses include an anti-fog coating and full UVA/UVB protection, so they perform well in both indoor pools and sunny outdoor venues. The protective coating preserves visibility during long meets while shielding eyes from bright sun and glare.

• Anti-fog treated lenses for sustained clarity
• 100% UVA/UVB protection for outdoor competitions
• Durable polycarbonate resists impact and scratches

Who this is for: The TYR Blackhawk Racing Goggles are aimed at competitive swimmers, age-group athletes, and serious triathletes looking for a performance-driven, low-drag goggle with wide peripheral sight and customizable fit. If you race frequently, value durability and on-deck adjustability, and want a secure seal through dives and turns, the Blackhawk is engineered to meet those needs without extra bulk.
