Ultraspire Softflask collapsible running bottle 500 ml Bite Cap, wide-mouth, lightweight

The Ultraspire Softflask Hydration Flask (500ml) is a lightweight, collapsible running bottle with a silicone bite valve and wide mouth for ice, built to slide into hydration vests and pockets.

Designed for trail and distance runners, this 500ml softflask keeps your pack light while offering easy sip access and fast packing. Its flexible body conforms to pockets, the larger opening accommodates ice or easy filling, and the silicone bite cap delivers spill-resistant drinking on the move. Constructed without BPA, PVC, or phthalates, it’s made to be both practical and safer for everyday use.

How does the Softflask fit into a hydration vest and running pockets?

The flattened, collapsible shape slides smoothly into narrow vest pockets and stays secure while you run. When empty it compresses to save space, and when filled its profile remains comfortable against your body. The soft material reduces bouncing compared with hard bottles.

• Collapsible design adapts to tight hydration pockets
• Low-bounce profile for stability during movement
• Easy insertion and removal thanks to its flexible shape

Is the bite cap and mouthpiece easy to use on the go?

The silicone sheath bite valve offers a responsive, leak-minimizing sip that’s simple to operate one-handed. It’s designed to open with a gentle bite and close automatically when released, helping prevent spills while you run. The soft lip is comfortable for repeated sips over long distances.

• Silicone bite valve for controlled flow and quick drinking
• Soft mouthfeel reduces lip fatigue on long runs
• Sheath protects the valve from dirt and debris in trail conditions

How easy is it to fill, clean, and carry cold drinks or ice?

The flask’s larger-diameter top is sized to accept ice cubes and fast refills at aid stations or sinks. That wide opening also makes rinsing and hand-washing the interior straightforward. The soft, compressible body dries quickly when left open, simplifying maintenance between outings.

• Wide top fits ice cubes and speeds refills
• Hand-washable interior and quick-drying soft material
• Detachable cap components make cleaning easier

What materials and safety features does it offer?

The Softflask is crafted from flexible, food-safe materials and is free of BPA, PVC, and phthalates, reducing exposure to unwanted chemicals. Its construction balances low weight with durability for repeated use on trails and daily training. The silicone bite valve is replaceable, extending the flask’s service life.

• 100% BPA-, PVC- and phthalate-free materials
• Lightweight construction for minimal carry weight
• Durable valve and sheath designed for repeated use
