Under Armour Boys' Storm Fleece Gloves, Black (001)/Pitch Gray, X-Large — touchscreen, water‑resistant youth gloves

Under Armour Boys' Storm Fleece Gloves are water‑resistant, stretchy fleece gloves with touchscreen fingertips and a warm brushed interior for everyday cold‑weather use.

These youth gloves combine Under Armour's UA Storm finish with lightweight Armour Fleece construction to block light moisture while keeping mobility and breathability. Made from 100% polyester, the pair includes reinforced palm details and touchscreen‑capable thumb and index finger pads so kids can stay connected without exposing their hands to the elements.

How do these gloves keep hands dry without feeling bulky?

The UA Storm treatment sheds light rain and snow by creating a durable water‑repellent surface on the fleece. Instead of relying on heavy membrane layers, the fabric sheds moisture and lets air move through, preserving a slim fit and natural stretch.

• UA Storm finish repels light wetness rather than sealing out breathability
• Armour Fleece fabric remains thin and flexible for active movement
• Brushed inner face traps warm air without adding bulk

Will my child still use screens while wearing these gloves?

Yes — the gloves feature Tech Touch pads on the thumb and index finger to operate phones, tablets, and other touchscreens. The conductive material is integrated so kids can swipe, tap, and type without removing the gloves, which helps maintain warmth during quick screen use.

• Tech Touch on thumb and index finger for reliable touchscreen control
• Placement supports typical pinch, swipe, and single‑finger taps
• Leaves the rest of the hand insulated while interacting with devices

How durable and grippy are these gloves for daily play?

Under Armour adds woven overlays and a microfiber palm to improve durability and grip in high‑wear zones. Those reinforcements help the gloves resist abrasion from toys, bikes, and schoolyard activities while offering better hold on objects.

• Woven overlays reinforce cuffs and exterior high‑stress areas
• Microfiber palm increases friction for steadier grip on items
• Stretchy fleece keeps the fit snug during active movement

How should I choose the right size and care for these gloves?

Select the YXL size to match youth measurements or your child's usual Under Armour sizing for a close, flexible fit. Care is simple because the gloves are polyester — machine wash cold and tumble dry low or air dry to maintain fabric performance and the UA Storm finish.

• YXL corresponds to larger youth sizing—compare to other Under Armour youth items
• Machine wash cold to preserve water‑repellent finish and fleece texture
• Tumble dry low or line dry to avoid heat damage to the Tech Touch pads

Who is this for? These Under Armour Storm Fleece Gloves suit active kids who need a warm, low‑profile glove for school recess, light outdoor play, and errands where touchscreen access matters. If you want a breathable, water‑shedding glove with reinforced palms and reliable touchscreen usability for everyday cold‑weather use, this pair in black is a practical choice.
