Under Armour youth boys F8 Football Gloves, Black (001)/Metallic Silver, Youth Small — sticky UA GlueGrip, adjustable wrist

Under Armour Youth F8 Football Gloves are sticky, supportive youth gloves built with UA GlueGrip and textured TurfGear for reliable catches and breathable durability.

These youth-sized gloves combine tacky grip technology with a ventilated, reinforced backhand to help young players perform during practices and games. Constructed from a silicone-rich palm material and lightweight knit, the F8 balances feel and protection while meeting standard high-school and college play requirements. The adjustable wrist closure secures the fit so gloves stay in place through sudden movements.

How do these gloves improve catching and ball control?

The F8 uses UA GlueGrip on the palm to deliver immediate tack and consistent hold throughout play, while the silicone content enhances surface adhesion. The sticky surface helps reduce drops on routine and contested catches without adding bulk.

• UA GlueGrip palm for prolonged tackiness and reliable adhesion
• 85% silicone-rich construction for enhanced ball control
• Low-profile fit preserves hand feel and dexterity

What durability features prevent wear during play?

A textured TurfGear backhand offers abrasion resistance and breathability where impact and turf contact occur most. 3D printed overlays reinforce high-stress areas, so seams and panels hold up during repeated use.

• Textured TurfGear back of hand resists scuffs and allows airflow
• 3D print overlays add structural support on fingers and knuckles
• Quality stitching and materials designed for regular practice and game use

Will these gloves stay secure during quick plays?

An adjustable wrist closure lets you tailor tension for a snug, locked-in fit so the gloves won’t shift when players accelerate or extend for a catch. The slim profile prevents excess fabric from snagging or interfering with hand movement.

• Hook-and-loop wrist strap customizes fit and security
• Slim cuff design reduces bulk and improves range of motion
• Constructed to maintain fit through rapid direction changes

Do these gloves meet competitive play standards?

Yes—these gloves conform to common high school and collegiate equipment standards for grip and safety. They are engineered to satisfy NFHS and NCAA guidelines while delivering sport-specific performance traits.

• Meets NFHS/NCAA/SFIA equipment requirements
• Designed for youth players transitioning into organized play
• Available in youth sizing for an age-appropriate fit
