Under Armour Youth Gameday Pro 5-Pad Compression Girdle, NEW Black Size Small, HeatGear moisture-wicking

The Under Armour Gameday Pro 5-Pad Compression Girdle is a youth football baselayer that combines HeatGear comfort with McDavid HEX protective pads for lightweight, breathable impact coverage.

This compression girdle is built for young football players who need second-skin fit, strategic padding and fast moisture management. It pairs Under Armour's HeatGear fabric—designed to feel cool and compress without restricting movement—with anatomically contoured McDavid HEX pads that add protective coverage without bulk. The ultra-tight fit and stretch-mesh panels help the girdle stay secure under pads while improving airflow during high-intensity play.

How does this girdle protect during contact?

The girdle uses McDavid HEX technology—flexible, honeycomb-patterned padding that disperses impact while staying lightweight. Pads are positioned over high-contact zones so protection feels natural and unobtrusive.

• Five anatomically placed HEX pads for hips, tailbone and thighs
• Waterproof construction so pads don’t absorb sweat or become heavy
• Low-profile design keeps bulk to a minimum under game pants

Will it stay comfortable and dry during a full game?

Yes—HeatGear fabric and Under Armour’s Moisture Wick Transport System pull sweat away from skin and dry quickly to maintain comfort. Strategic stretch-mesh panels add ventilation where heat builds, helping the girdle remain breathable through intense drives.

• HeatGear body fabric offers cooling compression without restriction
• Stretch-mesh panels for targeted airflow and flexibility
• Fast-drying polyester/spandex blend resists cling and irritation

How does the fit perform under pads and during movement?

The Gameday Pro is an ultra-tight, compression fit designed as a second-skin layer. It’s engineered to move with the athlete so the pads stay in place while allowing full range of motion for running, cutting and blocking.

• Compression fit keeps pads aligned with impact zones
• 11.5" inseam provides coverage without restricting cleat-to-hip mobility
• Spandex blend offers four-way stretch for dynamic movements

What materials and care features should I know about?

The girdle’s fabric mix balances durability with stretch and moisture control. Construction details emphasize performance and low maintenance to suit busy schedules and repeated game-day use.

• Body: 92% polyester / 8% spandex for compression and resilience
• Mesh panels: 87% polyester / 13% spandex for added breathability
• Machine washable; follow garment tag for drying to preserve pad structure

Who is this for? The Under Armour Gameday Pro 5-Pad Compression Girdle is aimed at youth football players and their parents who want dependable, low-profile protection beneath game pants. It’s a strong choice for athletes seeking a snug compression fit, strategically placed waterproof pads, and fabrics engineered to wick moisture and let them move freely. Coaches and equipment managers will also appreciate the durable, performance-focused construction that endures practices and games without adding unnecessary bulk.
