Under Armour Spotlight Chin Strap Adult, Navy — Hard-Shell with EVA Pad, Adjustable Fit

This chin strap from Under Armour is built for contact sports, combining a rugged outer shell with a soft EVA liner so players can wear it throughout practices and games. Designed to attach high or low on helmet hooks, the Spotlight Chin Strap balances protection and comfort while being easy to clean and durable under frequent use. The OSFA (one size fits all) navy version suits a wide range of helmets and is available in youth and adult options as well.

How does this chin strap improve on-helmet protection?

The Spotlight Chin Strap uses a hard Armour Flex shell that resists impact and abrasion, providing a reinforced barrier over the chin area. It isn't a substitute for a helmet but adds an extra layer of durability where contact often occurs.

• Armour Flex hard shell absorbs and disperses force from glancing blows.
• Reinforced seams and materials increase lifespan under heavy use.
• Low-profile design reduces bulk while preserving protection coverage.

Will it stay comfortable during long practices and games?

Comfort is a priority: the inner EVA pad liner conforms to the chin and resists moisture buildup, keeping wear comfortable through multiple sessions. The liner is also quick to wipe down, so maintenance is simple between drills or plays.

• EVA foam liner cushions pressure points for extended wear comfort.
• Sweat-resistant material minimizes slippage and odor retention.
• Removable or wipe-clean surface speeds post-session care.

How does the fit system adapt to different helmets and players?

The integrated strap adapter lets you position the strap for a high or low helmet hook-up, giving a tailored fit across helmet types and player preferences. The OSFA sizing in this navy model accommodates most athletes, with youth and adult sizing options available for an even better match.

• Adjustable adapter supports high or low hook placement on helmets.
• One-size construction conforms to a broad range of jaw shapes.
• Available in multiple sizes and colors to suit teams and players.

How do I care for and maintain this chin strap?

Under Armour built the chin strap to be low-maintenance: the EVA liner wipes clean and the outer shell resists scuffs and staining. Regular inspection and proper attachment to your helmet will extend its useful life and performance.

• Wipe liner and shell with mild soap and water after use.
• Air dry completely before storage to prevent odor or degradation.
• Check attachment points and replace if hardware shows wear.

It's particularly suited for high-school teams, weekend leagues, and trainers who need a durable, easy-to-clean accessory available in youth and adult sizes.
