SnakeLook SideWinder scope phone adapter — side-mount all-aluminum frame, fits 2-4" phones & 37-45.5mm eyepieces

The SnakeLook SideWinder is a rugged, all‑aluminum side‑mount adapter that secures smartphones to rifle scopes to record and share exactly what the optic sees.

If you want to capture photos or video through a rifle scope without fumbling a phone over the eyepiece, the SideWinder gives a stable, repeatable way to align your camera with the scope’s exit pupil. Built from anodized aluminum and engineered to accept phones 2"–4" wide and eyepieces 37mm–45.5mm outer diameter, this universal scope adapter focuses on reliability in the field and simple, fast setup.

How does the SideWinder attach to my scope and phone?

The SideWinder clamps to the scope eyepiece and holds your smartphone at a 90° angle to the optic, keeping the phone out of your line of sight. Three interchangeable compression fittings accommodate varying eyepiece diameters, ensuring the phone camera is centered with minimal adjustment.

• Direct side‑mount connection to eyepiece for stable alignment
• Three compression fittings for 37mm–45.5mm outer diameters
• Phone clamp fits widths from 2" to 4" for most modern smartphones
• Quick thumb screws allow tool‑free tightening and removal

Will it give me clear photos and video through my scope?

Proper centering and a rigid metal frame reduce vignetting, soft edges, and wobble that can ruin scope photography. While image clarity still depends on your scope’s optics and your phone camera, the SideWinder minimizes mechanical variables so you capture repeatable, usable footage.

• Automatic centering improves edge‑to‑edge image coverage
• Rigid aluminum body prevents flex and movement while filming
• Side mount orientation keeps the phone steady during long recordings

Is the adapter durable enough for field use and travel?

The chassis is milled from aluminum and finished with anodizing to resist corrosion, scratches, and general wear from outdoor use. It’s designed to protect both your optics and phone while surviving bumps, knocks, and repeated assembly in hunting and observation conditions.

• Anodized aluminum frame resists weather and abrasions
• Padded contact surfaces safeguard eyepieces and phone edges
• Compact form factor packs easily into range bags or daypacks

How quickly can I set it up and start recording?

Setup is straightforward: choose the compression fitting that matches your eyepiece, secure the adapter to the scope, clamp your phone, and align the camera. Many users are ready to record within a few minutes once fittings are dialed in, making the SideWinder practical for spontaneous opportunities.

• Tool‑free fasteners for speedy on‑scope mounting
• Adjustable phone clamp for instantaneous placement
• Repeatable alignment for faster setup next time

Who is this for? If you document outdoor optics work—hunting, birding, target shooting, training, or field instruction—and need a dependable way to film what your scope sees, the SnakeLook SideWinder is built to simplify that workflow. It’s targeted at shooters and observers who want durable hardware, quick setup, and broad smartphone compatibility without modifying their rifles or phones. The SideWinder is not a replacement for professional camera optics, but it is a practical tool for capturing and sharing scope‑view photos and video in real world outdoor settings.
