Viper by GLD Products Grim Reaper 80% Tungsten Soft-Tip Darts, Medium Knurling, 18 Grams, Concaved Barrel

The Viper by GLD Products Grim Reaper darts are a six-piece soft-tip set built around 80% tungsten concaved barrels for a slim, controllable 18-gram throw.

Engineered for electronic and most sisal boards, this complete kit blends dense tungsten construction, precision machining and locking aluminium shafts to help you group shots more tightly. The set is finished with slim high-speed flights that bear the Grim Reaper motif, multiple spare parts and a protective Deluxe Dart Pal case so you get tournament-style features right out of the box.

How does the 80% tungsten barrel affect play?

Higher tungsten content means the barrel can be made thinner while keeping the same mass, letting darts sit closer together on the board and reducing deflections. The Grim Reaper barrels combine 80% tungsten with nickel for a robust, slim profile that supports consistent aiming and tighter shot grouping.

• 80% tungsten / 20% nickel for a slim, dense barrel
• Concaved profile for finger placement and a secure hold
• Knurled bands and deep grooves give reliable grip points

What makes the shafts and tips reliable during play?

The set uses diamond-cut aluminium shafts with locking holes to reduce loosening after throws, so you spend less time tightening and more time practicing. Soft Tufflex II 2BA tips are included in multiples to keep the darts compatible with electronic boards and to provide durable point performance.

• Diamond-cut aluminium shafts with locking holes for tighter fit
• Extra convex nylon shafts included for quick swaps
• Nine 2BA Tufflex II soft tips supplied for long-lasting use

What accessories are included and how do they help maintenance?

This package goes beyond darts by supplying spare parts and tools so maintenance and repairs are simple. The Deluxe Dart Pal case organizes all components and protects barrels, shafts and flights during transport or storage.

• Six high-speed slim flights with Grim Reaper artwork
• Three extra nylon shafts, flight protectors, and a dart mechanic wrench
• Deluxe Dart Pal case with hard outer shell and cloth-lined slots

How does the barrel design support consistent throws?

The concaved barrel profile, paired with hand-painted rings, creates repeatable hand placement so each release matches the last. Strategically placed knurling and grooves offer tactile feedback to maintain consistent grip pressure through every throw.

• Concaved shape encourages uniform finger positioning
• Hand-painted rings act as visual markers for placement
• Knurled bands and grooves provide textured grip points

The Grim Reaper 18-gram configuration suits intermediate to advanced players who prefer a slim, balance-focused barrel profile and need a complete travel-ready kit with spare shafts, tips and a protective case.
