Volvik Vivid Golf Balls Matte Yellow Dozen — Low-Driver-Spin, High Launch 75 Compression

The Volvik New Vivid Matte Yellow golf balls are a patented matte-finish, low-driver-spin ball designed to launch high and travel farther while staying highly visible in flight and on the ground.

These balls combine Volvik's first-ever matte surface with an ionomer cover and a 75 compression rating to suit a broad range of golfers. The matte finish reduces glare and gives unique aerodynamic properties that help control driver spin, while bright colors like matte yellow make tracking shots easier from tee to green. Volvik also includes its V•A•S (Volvik Alignment System) graphic to help you line up putts and aim off the tee.

How do these balls help increase distance off the tee?

The New Vivid matte construction is engineered to lower driver spin and promote a higher launch angle, which together can produce longer roll and carry for many players. The ionomer cover maintains durable flight characteristics while providing consistent feel and energy transfer at impact.

• Low driver spin for reduced shot curvature and more roll.
• High launch profile to maximize carry distance.
• 75 compression for efficient energy transfer across common swing speeds.
• Durable ionomer cover holds up to repeated strikes without sacrificing performance.

Why choose a matte finish and vivid color like yellow?

Volvik's patented matte surface reduces shiny reflections and changes surface texture to subtly influence aerodynamics. Bright matte yellow enhances visual tracking in the air and rapid identification on the fairway or green, which can save time and lower frustration during rounds.

• Patented matte finish minimizes glare and improves visibility.
• Vibrant yellow stands out against grass, sand and sky backgrounds.
• Color and finish together help players spot ball flight and landing points faster.

What feel and compression should I expect at impact?

With a 75 compression rating, these balls deliver a balanced feel—soft enough for good short-game feedback yet firm enough to produce controlled distance from the tee with swings in the recommended range. The ionomer cover offers a crisp, responsive sensation on iron strikes and workability around the green.

• 75 compression—suitable for swing speeds roughly 70–100 mph.
• Ionomer cover provides a consistent, slightly firmer feel than urethane but stronger durability.
• Responsive on approach shots and stable off the driver.

How does the V•A•S alignment system improve putting and aiming?

The Volvik Alignment System (V•A•S) is a simple visual cue printed on the ball to help you set up and aim more consistently. Use the line as your reference when addressing putts or aligning your tee shot for improved accuracy and confidence.

• Clear visual guide for more repeatable setup at the green and tee.
• Helps reduce alignment guesswork under pressure.
• Works with the bright matte finish for quick visual confirmation.

Who is this for? The Volvik New Vivid Matte Yellow dozen is aimed at golfers who want a distinctive, highly visible ball that favors lower driver spin and higher launch without sacrificing durability. It's a good match for mid-speed swingers (about 70–100 mph) who want more roll and easier ball tracking on the course, plus any player who values alignment assistance and long-lasting cover performance.
