Waycel Youth Sliding Mitt for Baseball & Softball, Gingerbread man, Padded Neoprene with Wrist Support

The WAYCEL Youth Sliding Mitt is a padded, neoprene sliding glove with internal protective plates that shields young baseball and softball players during slides while adding a fun ice cream design.

Lightweight yet sturdy, this sliding mitt blends impact protection, wrist support, and breathable comfort for youth athletes. Built from soft flex neoprene and featuring a quick-release closure, the mitt reduces abrasion and stabilizes the hand and wrist so players can slide with confidence. Its compact profile fits in a back pocket, making it easy to carry to practices and games without adding bulk to a gear bag.

How does the mitt protect hands and wrists when sliding?

The sliding mitt uses internal protective plates and layered padding to absorb impact and shield skin from scrapes. Coverage wraps the top and bottom of the hand for more complete protection than a bare hand or tape alone.

• 360-degree padding guards against abrasions and cuts
• Rigid internal plates distribute impact forces away from bones and joints
• Top and bottom protective layers reduce direct contact with turf or base

Will it stay secure during play and still be easy to remove?

The mitt fastens with a hook-and-loop closure combined with a compression elastic strap to lock the fit while allowing quick removal between plays. The design balances a snug, custom feel with one-handed, rapid on/off operation.

• Hook-and-loop closure for repeatable, adjustable tension
• Compression elastic strap adds wrist stabilization during impact
• Quick-release function prevents fumbling when pace matters

Is the WAYCEL mitt comfortable and breathable for long use?

Constructed from soft flex neoprene, the mitt conforms to the hand and remains lightweight during extended practices or games. Breathable materials and a contoured shape minimize heat and allow natural movement for running and fielding.

• Soft flex neoprene molds to the hand for a glove-like fit
• Lightweight construction reduces wrist fatigue while sliding
• Contoured profile preserves mobility for catching and tagging

What makes the ice cream design useful beyond looks?

The ice cream graphic on the WAYCEL mitt helps younger players express personality while staying visible to coaches and teammates. The distinctive pattern also makes the mitt easy to find in a crowded dugout or bag.

• Bright, playful print increases on-field visibility
• Unique style encourages kids to wear protective gear
• Design details stand out, simplifying equipment pickup and storage
