Wisdom Leaves Mini Basketball for Kids, Girls & Boys, Purple-Blue, Size 4, Soft-Touch Indoor/Outdoor Play

Wisdom Leaves Size 4 mini basketball is a 25.5-inch soft-touch, lightweight ball built for toddlers and young children to learn dribbling, passing and casual play indoors, outdoors or in the pool.

This compact kids' basketball combines a cushioned rubber surface and a butyl bladder to deliver easy handling, reliable bounce and water-resistant performance for playgrounds, backyards and poolside games. Shipped deflated for compact packing, it inflates to a stable size that fits small hands and lower rims. The bright, classic colorway helps the ball stay visible during active play while durable materials help it resist scuffs and retain shape through repeated use.

How does this ball help little kids learn basketball skills?

The Size 4 (25.5") circumference and 400g weight match young players' hand sizes and strength, so dribbling and shooting feel more natural than with full-size balls. A soft-touch rubber surface makes gripping easier, helping beginners control the ball while they practice coordination and basic moves.

• Smaller circumference for easier palm coverage and control
• Lightweight design reduces strain during repetitive drills
• Non-slip rubber texture improves handling in dry or damp conditions

Can I use this basketball outdoors, on court surfaces or in the pool?

Yes — the ball is designed for versatile play. Wear-resistant rubber stands up to playground and cement surfaces, while the waterproof outer layer allows safe use in pools and splash-friendly environments.

• Durable rubber suitable for asphalt, concrete and rubber courts
• Waterproof surface tolerates pool and beach play
• Butyl bladder maintains consistent pressure across different venues

What makes the construction reliable for long-term play?

This basketball features a PE nylon-wrapped butyl bladder that locks in air for steady bounce and shape retention. The exterior combines abrasion-resistant rubber and a textured grip so the ball holds up through outdoor scrimmages and repeated handling by energetic kids.

• PE nylon wrap strengthens bladder and reduces air loss
• Butyl material preserves inflation and consistent bounce
• Wear-resistant rubber resists scuffs and abrasions

How do I prepare this ball for use and care for it?

The basketball ships deflated to save space; inflate to the recommended pressure using a standard pump and needle, taking care not to over-inflate. For maintenance, wipe the surface clean after dusty or wet play and store in a cool, dry place to protect the bladder and rubber exterior.

• Inflate after unpacking; avoid over-inflation
• Clean with a damp cloth to remove dirt and chlorine residue
• Store away from extreme heat and sharp objects
