yamato Arthritic Oversize Jumbo Golf Grips 8-Piece for Men & Women, Nubbed Rubber Shock-Absorbing

These YAMATO Arthritic Oversize Jumbo Golf Grips are thick, nubbed rubber grips (8-piece set) designed to make holding clubs easier and more secure for golfers seeking larger, lower-pressure handles.

Many golfers who prefer a gentler hand pressure or who have reduced grip strength benefit from a larger-diameter grip and a textured surface that prevents twisting without forcing a tight squeeze. YAMATO’s oversize jumbo grips combine a slightly increased outer diameter, a reduced taper and a proprietary nubbed texture to promote a lighter hold while preserving control. Built from thick rubber, they also add shock absorption and all-weather tack to improve comfort through a full round.

How do YAMATO jumbo grips change my feel at address?

The larger diameter and reduced taper distribute pressure across the palm and fingers so you naturally hold the club lighter while maintaining control. The nubbed surface helps resist slippage without requiring a death grip, preserving wrist release and swing mechanics.

• Jumbo grip size with slightly larger outer diameter for gentler hand pressure
• Reduced taper to stabilize the hand and promote consistent placement
• Proprietary nubbed texture for anti-slip performance and tactile feedback

Will these grips work in wet or cold playing conditions?

Yes — the grips are molded from thick rubber that maintains tack in a range of conditions. The textured nubs channel moisture away from contact points and the material’s density helps keep a secure feel even when the weather is less than ideal.

• Thick rubber composition for reliable grip in rain or dew
• Nubbed texture improves traction when hands are damp
• Shock absorption reduces hand sting in colder conditions

What are the precise dimensions and compatibility details?

These grips are designed for standard golf shafts but with a larger outer diameter suited to oversize grip preferences. They come as an 8-piece set, so you’ll have enough to outfit a full iron set or mix-and-match across clubs.

• Grip length: 10.50 inches — full-size for easy installation and comfortable hand placement
• Core size: 0.58 inches — fits standard tapered shafts with usual installation methods
• Weight: ~65 g per grip and sold in an 8-piece pack for set coverage

How do these grips help golfers managing hand discomfort?

While not medical devices, the design prioritizes a lower-pressure hold and increased surface area to reduce localized stress on fingers and palms. Many customers who experience general hand discomfort find a larger, softer grip more comfortable for extended play.

• Oversize profile reduces the need for tight gripping force
• Soft, shock-absorbing rubber lessens vibration transmitted to the hands
• Nubbed surface supports a light, secure hold without gripping harder

Who is this for? The YAMATO Arthritic Oversize Jumbo Golf Grips suit golfers who prefer a larger-diameter handle, anyone seeking extra shock damping or players wanting a tacky, anti-slip texture for unreliable weather. They’re a practical choice for those refitting a full iron set (8-piece pack), for players transitioning from standard grips to jumbo profiles, and for golfers who want to reduce hand tension while keeping dependable control.
