YONEX aluminium badminton racket GR 303i for beginners — White, 83g, isometric head & full cover

The YONEX GR 303i is a lightweight, durable aluminium badminton racket with an isometric head and full cover, built to help beginner players develop reliable shots and control.

Made in India under the YONEX name, the GR 303i combines a low-torsion steel shaft and an expanded sweet spot to deliver forgiving feel and stable swings for players who are new to the sport. At about 83 grams and supplied with a protective full racket cover, this model balances manageability and toughness so you can practice longer without worrying about accidental dents or nicks.

How does the isometric head shape improve my game?

The isometric head design increases the effective sweet spot compared with traditional oval heads, making it easier to hit consistent, powerful shots even when your contact point is slightly off-center. That extra forgiveness helps beginners build confidence while reducing mishits during rallies.

• Wider sweet spot improves shot consistency.
• Makes clears and drives more forgiving for developing technique.
• Helps maintain shuttle speed on off-center strikes.

Is this racket easy to handle for someone starting badminton?

Yes — at around 83 grams the GR 303i is light enough for comfortable swing speed yet solid enough to feel stable through contact. The low-torsion steel shaft reduces unwanted twisting on off-center hits, which helps with control while you refine wrist and arm movements.

• Lightweight frame aids faster racket head recovery between shots.
• Steel shaft limits torsion for steadier shot placement.
• Balanced feel suitable for learning both offensive and defensive strokes.

What durability and protection does this racket offer?

Constructed with an aluminium frame and paired with a low-torsion steel shaft, the GR 303i is designed to withstand regular recreational use without being overly fragile. The included full racket cover gives added protection during transport and storage to preserve the frame and strings.

• Aluminium construction resists denting from casual play.
• Full cover protects strings and frame between sessions.
• Manufacturer quality control under the YONEX brand ensures consistent build standards.
