Yonex Mavis 350 are slow-speed nylon shuttlecocks engineered to mimic feather flight while resisting wear for extended practice and match play.
Built in Japan with Yonex’s precision standards, the Mavis 350 combines a resilient nylon skirt and a consistent cork base to deliver reliable trajectories close to a feather shuttle. The yellow slow model (green cap category) is tuned for play in warmer conditions (about 22–33°C) and comes six per tube, making it a practical choice for clubs, coaches, and dedicated players who want predictable performance without the fragility of real feathers.
The Mavis 350 reproduces feather-like flight characteristics while offering superior durability. Recovery time after smashes is only marginally slower than Yonex feather shuttles, yet the nylon skirt stands up much better to repeated impacts and rough court surfaces.
Yonex classifies the yellow-capped Mavis 350 for slower flight, intended for use in temperatures around 22–33°C. That makes them a better match for warm indoor halls or temperate outdoor play where shuttle speed would otherwise become too fast.
Constructed from high-quality nylon, the Mavis 350 keeps shape and performance through repeated smashes and drives. The skirt hardness adjusts with temperature but retains enough resilience to provide predictable flight across practice sessions.
Each tube contains six Mavis 350 nylon shuttlecocks, ready for practice, club nights, or school use. While they mimic feather feel closely enough for advanced players, their durability and cost-effectiveness make them particularly attractive for regular training, multi-player sessions, and recreational leagues.
Who is this for: Players, coaches, and clubs that want near-feather flight dynamics without the frequent replacement cost of real feathers. The Yonex Mavis 350 suits warm indoor environments, group practices, and any situation where durability and consistent performance matter more than the last ounce of feather precision.
Q: Are Mavis 350 shuttlecocks suitable for tournament play?
A: They’re ideal for practice and club matches; official tournament rules may require feather shuttles depending on event regulations.
Q: What temperature is best for the slow (yellow) Mavis 350?
A: The yellow slow version is optimized for about 22–33°C, giving controlled flight in warm indoor or temperate outdoor conditions.
