YVUDW Waterproof Kayak Dry Box Black — Floating ABS Airtight Case with Stainless Steel Hinge

YVUDW Waterproof Kayak Dry Box is a compact, floating ABS storage case that keeps phones, keys and small valuables dry and protected during water activities.

Whether you paddle, fish, boat or camp, this sealed dry box is built to guard small essentials against splashes, brief submersion and rough handling. Its sturdy ABS body, stainless steel hinge and rubber lid gasket combine to form an airtight enclosure, while an internal mesh pocket gives quick access to slim items. Sized to fit most modern smartphones and everyday carry, the case is small enough to stow in a cockpit or backpack yet large enough to hold the day’s must-haves.

How does this dry box protect my gear on the water?

The YVUDW case uses a continuous rubber seal around the lid and a positive locking latch to form an airtight barrier, preventing water ingress even if it briefly goes under. The ABS shell resists impacts and abrasion, and the stainless hinge is built to endure repeated opening without failure. Together these features protect electronics, documents and other moisture-sensitive items during water-based use.

• Continuous rubber gasket for a watertight closure
• Durable ABS outer shell to absorb knocks and scrapes
• Stainless steel hinge and locking latch for reliable sealing
• Designed to float to reduce risk of losing contents

Will my phone, keys and small tools fit inside?

With an interior footprint of about 8.3 x 4 x 2.7 inches, the dry box accommodates most smartphones, compact wallets, keys, headlamps and small multi-tools. The extra 2.7-inch depth is adequate for slimmer cases and common accessories while keeping the overall footprint compact for storage. An internal mesh pocket helps separate slim items like cards or cables from bulkier objects.

• Interior dimensions: 8.3 x 4 x 2.7 inches
• Fits most modern smartphones (case-dependent)
• Mesh pocket stores cards, cables or small papers
• Exterior footprint: 8.8 x 4 x 3.5 inches for easy stowage

How easy is it to carry and attach while paddling or hiking?

The case is lightweight and includes molded attachment points along the sides so you can clip it to packs, kayaks or belt loops using a carabiner or lanyard. Its floating behavior gives extra security on the water—if it goes overboard it will stay at the surface for quick recovery. The compact shape slides into kayak compartments, cockpit wells or backpack pockets without adding bulk.

• Side attachment points for carabiners and straps
• Floating design for quick retrieval if dropped
• Slim profile fits many kayak cockpits and pack pockets
• Lightweight ABS construction for easy carrying

How durable is the construction for long-term outdoor use?

Engineered from impact-resistant ABS, the box withstands typical knocks, drops and abrasions encountered during outdoor adventures. The stainless steel hinge resists corrosion in humid and marine environments, and the locking latch keeps the seal compressed over time. These materials are chosen to deliver consistent performance season after season under normal recreational use.

• Impact-resistant ABS shell for everyday durability
• Corrosion-resistant stainless steel hinge for marine use
• Secure latch to maintain gasket compression and seal
• Interior mesh pocket sewn into the lid for organization
