ZOHAN Shot Timer for Shooting Competition, Black, High-Sensitivity Mic & Backlit LCD

The ZOHAN Upgraded Shot Timer for Shooting Competition is a highly sensitive, portable electronic timer engineered to record shot split times and support multiple competition and training modes.

Whether you practice precision pistol work or run timed drills at a range, the ZOHAN shot timer combines a sensitive microphone, clear backlit display, and durable housing to capture audible shots and present accurate interval data. It ships with a 9V alkaline battery, a belt clip for hands-free carrying, and a loud buzzer to mark par times or round starts.

How accurate and sensitive is the ZOHAN timer?

The upgraded microphone and internal timing algorithms were refined through testing to register typical firearm report levels while minimizing false triggers. Sensitivity affects result reliability, and ZOHAN’s model gives a responsive threshold suitable for most ranges and handgun calibers.

• High-sensitivity mic tuned for firearm acoustic signatures
• Precise split timing useful for single and multi-shot drills
• Adjustable settings to limit ambient noise triggers

Which shooting modes are available and when would I use each?

This timer includes four modes, including a PAR timer that supports both DELAY and INSTANT start options. Mode selection lets you run dry-fire practice, single-shot drills, or competitive-style stages by choosing how the start tone is delivered.

• PAR mode for timed strings with DELAY or INSTANT starts
• Instant start for immediate shot recording
• Delay start to simulate staged event timing
• Additional modes for solo training or group runs

Is the ZOHAN timer durable and easy to carry on the range?

The housing is molded from hard ABS for impact resistance while remaining lightweight for everyday carry. A sturdy belt clip and a bright, night-vision-compatible LCD backlight make it quick to read and reach during live drills or competitions.

• ABS construction for toughness and reduced weight
• HD backlight LCD readable in low light conditions
• Strong belt clip for hands-free transport
• Loud improved buzzer audible in noisy environments

How long will the battery last and is it user-replaceable?

The ZOHAN shot timer includes a pre-installed 9V alkaline battery sized to give extended runtime for typical practice sessions and matches. The battery is user-replaceable, so you can keep the device ready with spare cells between events.

• Included 9V alkaline battery for immediate use
• Swappable battery compartment for quick replacements
• Stable power delivery to maintain accurate timing

Who is this for: The ZOHAN Upgraded Shot Timer is built for competitive shooters, club instructors, range regulars, and anyone who wants reliable split-time feedback during timed drills. It suits shooters practicing for action pistol, USPSA, IDPA-style stages, or personal training where accurate acoustic detection, clear displays, and rugged portability matter most.
