REMFLY Trip Wire Alarm 2 Pack 209 Primer Portable, Reusable Aluminum Perimeter Alert

RE MFLY 2 Pack 209 Primer Portable Trip Wire Alarm is a compact, reusable outdoor perimeter alarm that uses standard 209 primers to create a loud, attention-getting warning when a trip wire is triggered.

This pair of spring-triggered alarms provides a lightweight, low-profile solution for short-term or semi-permanent perimeter warning needs. Designed for campsites, driveways, garden borders, and small farms, each unit accepts a 209 primer (sold separately) and trips when tension is applied to the attached wire. Constructed from corrosion-resistant 6061 aluminum and built for repeated use, the REMFLY units are intended to alert you to approachers or curious wildlife without resorting to electronic systems.

How quickly can I set these alarms up at a campsite?

Setup is intended to be fast and tool-light so you can secure an area in minutes. Use the included screw-eye anchor or a simple tree-to-tree stretch to position the low-visibility trip line across a path or entry point, insert a 209 primer, and tension the spring mechanism.

• Typical setup time: 3–10 minutes per alarm.
• Mounting options: screw-eye, stake, or loop around fixed objects.
• Rearmable design: reset the spring-trigger after each activation.
• Low-profile trip wire minimizes visual detection.

What supplies do I need and are primers included?

The REMFLY alarms require standard 209 primers to produce the audible alert; primers and trip wire are not included to let you source suitable options locally and comply with local regulations. You’ll also want simple mounting hardware if you’re not using the supplied screw-eye.

• Required: 209 primers (sold separately).
• Recommended: light cord or low-visibility trip line for concealment.
• Optional: additional screw-eyes or stakes for multiple anchor points.
• Note: do not use live ammunition or modify the unit.

How durable and weatherproof are these alarms?

Each alarm is machined from 6061 aluminum and treated to resist rust and corrosion, making them suitable for repeated outdoor use across seasons. The mechanical trigger and housing are designed to function reliably in wet, dusty, or cold environments when maintained and stored properly.

• Material: rust-resistant 6061 aluminum body.
• Performance: built for thousands of cycles with normal care.
• Maintenance: keep free of heavy debris and follow storage guidance.
• Use caution: avoid placing near flammable materials.

Are there safety concerns or legal limits I should know about?

The product is intended solely as a no-contact audible warning device and must be used responsibly. It is explicitly not for live ammunition or close-proximity use, and you should follow local regulations regarding primer use and outdoor noise ordinances.

• Safety: do not use with live rounds or explosive materials.
• Placement: keep away from flammable materials and structures.
• Compliance: check local rules on primer possession and noise.
• Support: REMFLY offers customer help within 24 hours for questions.
