AODESTINY 50-Pack 3.2" Heavy-Duty Spring Snap Hooks — Zinc-Galvanized 5/16" Carabiner Clips, 460 lb Rated

These are 50 heavy-duty 3.2-inch zinc-galvanized steel carabiner snap hooks (5/16" / M8 x 80mm) designed for securing hammocks, swings, gym equipment, shade sails and general outdoor use with a 460 lb rated holding capacity.

The AODESTINY 50-pack provides a bulk supply of sturdy spring-loaded carabiners made from zinc-plated carbon steel. Each clip features a smooth corrosion-resistant finish and an automatic spring gate for quick one-handed attachment and release. Built for general rigging, organizing and load-bearing tasks around home, yard and campsite, these clips are not certified for climbing or life-safety applications.

How do these carabiners stand up to outdoor conditions?

The clips are zinc-galvanized to resist rust and corrosion common in humid or coastal environments. The galvanized finish reduces surface wear and helps maintain smooth gate action over repeated use. Regular inspection is recommended if used in harsh saltwater or abrasive conditions.

• Material: galvanized carbon steel for rust resistance
• Finish: smooth zinc plating to prevent corrosion
• Recommendation: rinse and dry after saltwater exposure

What size and strength can I expect from each snap hook?

Each carabiner measures about 3.2 inches (80mm) in overall length with a 5/16-inch (8mm) main body diameter. They are rated to support loads up to approximately 460 pounds under static conditions, making them suitable for many rigging tasks but not rated for climbing or personal fall protection.

• Dimensions: M8 x 80mm (3.2 in length)
• Diameter: 5/16" (8mm) steel body
• Rated capacity: ~460 lb (for general-purpose use)

How easy are these spring snap hooks to operate during setup?

The spring-loaded gate enables one-handed opening and reliable automatic closure, speeding up attachment of ropes, straps and hardware. The gate has a wider-than-average opening to help slide through thicker webbing or rope without fumbling, and the smooth zinc finish reduces snags.

• Spring gate: auto-closes for fast connections
• Opening width: approx. 0.45 inches for easier clipping
• Operation: smooth action suitable for quick setups

What common uses are these carabiner clips best for?

These snap hooks are versatile for many non-life-safety tasks around home, workshop and outdoors. Typical applications include attaching hammocks and swings, anchoring shade sails, assembling home gyms, securing pet leashes, and organizing gear for camping, boating or fishing.

• Hammocks, swings, gym cables, and home exercise rigs
• Shade sails, tents, kayak attachments, and flag mounts
• Pet leashes, hiking packs, chains, ropes, and DIY projects

Who is this for? This 50-piece set is ideal for homeowners, campsite organizers, outdoor-event teams, gym owners and DIYers who need a large quantity of reliable, general-purpose carabiners for equipment assembly and gear organization. If you require hardware for climbing, fall protection or certified life-safety work, choose certified climbing-rated carabiners instead.
