A Plus Collectibles Glow-in-the-Dark Football Junior (Size 5), Eco-Leather with Enhanced Grip for Night Play

The A Plus Collectibles TAKE Flight Glow in the Dark Football (Junior) is a compact, battery-free glow football made from eco-leather with enhanced grip for night or low-light play.

This junior-sized football brightens up evening games and backyard play without batteries — just expose it to light for about 10 minutes and it will glow. Built with an eco-leather shell and textured surface, the ball balances playful glow effects with practical handling. It’s designed for kids and casual players who want extended visibility and a tacky surface for catching and throwing after dark.

How long will the glow remain after I charge it?

After exposing the football to a strong light source for 10 minutes, the phosphorescent layer emits glow for a period that depends on ambient light and activity. In darker conditions the glow is most visible for roughly 20–60 minutes, gradually fading as the stored light dissipates.

• Charge: 10 minutes under sunlight or bright artificial light
• Visibility: strongest for first 20–60 minutes in low light
• No batteries: recharges by exposure to light repeatedly

Is the TAKE Flight junior football durable for regular backyard games?

Yes — the ball uses an eco-leather outer that stands up to casual play, repeated throws, and typical outdoor surfaces. Its construction is intended for recreational use rather than professional play, so it’s ideal for parks, yards, and playdates.

• Eco-leather shell resists scuffs from grass and pavement
• Reinforced seams for routine backyard use
• Not designed for heavy-duty competitive leagues

How does the extra grip perform when hands are sweaty or slightly wet?

The textured surface gives a tackier feel than smooth synthetic balls, helping players hold and control passes in less-than-perfect conditions. While the grip improves handling, heavy rain or fully soaked conditions will still reduce tackiness and require drying for best performance.

• Textured pattern increases friction for secure catches
• Better control than smooth recreational balls in light moisture
• Wipe dry after heavy wetting to restore optimal grip

Who is the junior size best suited for and what age range will enjoy it most?

The junior size is tailored for younger players, smaller hands, and casual recreational use. It’s a good fit for children learning throwing and catching mechanics, family games, and organized youth practices where a slightly smaller ball aids development.

• Recommended for kids and teens with smaller hands
• Useful for coaches teaching basic techniques
• Perfect for family night games and low-light play sessions
