Hand-forged carbon-steel AFHZAM Viking Axe paired with a gifted Viking knife and leather sheath — a ready-to-display, ready-to-use set for collectors and outdoor fans.

This AFHZAM Viking set combines a traditional-looking, hand-forged carbon steel axe with a complementary Viking-style knife and sheath. The set arrives in a curated unboxing kit that includes gloves, a cutter, a cleaning cloth, and a simple instruction manual so you can handle, display, or use the tools safely. Materials and balance were prioritized during production so the set feels substantial in hand while keeping the knife and axe suitable for light camp tasks, display, or costume accessories.

How is the AFHZAM Viking Axe constructed and finished?

The axe head is hand-forged from carbon steel and heat-treated for durability and edge retention. The surface features a rustic finish that highlights forging marks while the handle is designed for grip and visual authenticity. The included knife mirrors the same metalwork and is fitted with a leather sheath for protection.

• Hand-forged carbon-steel axe head with visible forging texture
• Balanced wooden handle shaped for comfortable swing and display
• Matching hand-forged Viking knife with protective leather sheath
• Heat treatment for improved edge stability and strength

What comes in the unboxing kit and how does it help?

The AFHZAM unboxing kit is designed to make first use safe and satisfying. It includes gloves to protect your hands during handling, a cutter for opening packaging, a soft cloth for cleaning or polishing, and a concise manual outlining safe use, display, and maintenance tips.

• Protective gloves to reduce handling risk
• Box cutter for removing packing without damaging items
• Cleaning cloth for removing fingerprints and preserving finish
• Instruction manual with safety and care recommendations

Can I use this axe and knife for camping or outdoor tasks?

Yes—these pieces are suitable for light outdoor and camp tasks such as kindling, carving small pieces, or food preparation when used responsibly. They are not intended as heavy-duty logging tools; treat them as utility and display items that perform best with proper technique and regular care.

• Good for small cutting, trimming, and camp chores
• Not engineered for heavy felling or industrial use
• Requires routine sharpening and oiling to maintain edge
• Leather sheath protects the knife during transport

How should I care for the metal and wooden handle?

To keep the carbon steel and wood in good condition, clean and dry the tools after use, apply a thin oil coat to metal surfaces to prevent rust, and treat the wooden handle with a light wood oil or wax to prevent drying or cracking. Store the set in a dry place and use the included cloth for routine wiping.

• Wipe blades dry after exposure to moisture
• Apply light oil to steel to inhibit corrosion
• Condition wooden handle periodically with oil or wax
• Store in a cool, dry location away from humidity
