Afumazi Cork & EVA Foam Dartboard Backboard — 5-Piece Splicing Wall Surround, 28" OD for Standard Boards

Afumazi's 5-piece cork and EVA foam dartboard wall surround protects walls from stray darts while providing a clean, easy-to-install backing for standard boards.

Keep your walls intact and your game area tidy with a modular backboard designed for quick assembly and low-profile storage. This five-piece splicing design forms a 28-inch outer-diameter ring with a 17.75-inch inner opening, giving a durable buffer around a mounted dartboard. The one-inch thickness combines lightweight EVA foam for impact absorption with black flocking for a finished look that helps shield dart tips.

How does the Afumazi backboard install and store?

Installation needs no special tools: each of the five segments slots together to create a continuous protective ring around your dartboard. The pieces disassemble just as easily for compact storage or transport, making it convenient for home, clubs, or pub use.

• Five splice-together segments, no screws or drills required
• Fast assembly and takedown—ideal for temporary setups
• Disassembles flat to save space during storage or shipping

What materials and build quality should I expect?

The surround uses a combination of resilient EVA foam and a black flocked surface to balance impact absorption with a refined appearance. The inner surface cushions errant throws while the flocking reduces scuffing on dart tips and offers a uniform black finish that conceals marks.

• 1-inch thick EVA foam core for shock resistance
• Black flocking finish for tip protection and clean aesthetics
• Sturdy construction designed to maintain shape after repeated use

Will this fit my dartboard and protect my wall effectively?

The assembly yields a 28-inch outer diameter with a 17.75-inch inner opening—sized to surround most standard bristle and cork dartboards while leaving the board face unobstructed. The ring absorbs off-target shots, reducing plaster, drywall, and paint damage around the board area.

• Outer diameter: 28 inches; inner diameter: 17.75 inches
• Designed for standard dartboard sizes without blocking the scoring area
• Protects wall surfaces from stray darts and scuffs

How long will it last and what maintenance is needed?

With normal indoor use the EVA foam and flocking are durable and easy to maintain—occasional dusting or a gentle wipe keeps the surface tidy. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight to preserve material integrity and color.

• Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth for routine cleaning
• Keep indoors to prevent foam degradation and color fading
• Replace any segment if it becomes excessively worn; modular design makes replacement simple

Who is this for? Afumazi's 5-piece cork and EVA foam wall surround is built for dart players, hobbyists, bar and club owners, and anyone wanting damage protection without a permanent installation. It suits renters who need a noninvasive solution, families protecting living spaces, and venues that want an affordable, transportable backing. If you want a quick-to-install, space-saving shield around a standard dartboard that reduces wall repairs and keeps play areas neat, this backboard is a practical choice.
