AIRHEAD GEO Child life vest L70 Blue, USCG Level 70 flotation for kids, open-sided comfort

Built for general boating and active days on the water, the GEO life jacket pairs a contemporary graphic with proven safety construction. Its open-sided cut allows freedom of movement while the foam core and sturdy outer fabric deliver reliable flotation and long-term wear. Adjustable closures keep the vest snug without restricting paddling, swimming practice, or play.

How does the open-sided design improve comfort and movement?

The GEO’s open-sided silhouette reduces bulk at the torso and under the arms, so kids can paddle, climb aboard, and reach without feeling constrained. This design also makes the vest easier to put on and take off quickly.

• Open-sided panels for greater arm mobility and ventilation
• Slimmer profile that layers comfortably over swimsuits or wetsuits
• Simple pull-over fit that speeds dressing and removal

What safety features keep a child secure in the water?

The GEO meets Level 70 approval and carries both USCG and Transport Canada certifications, indicating it provides dependable flotation for its size range. Multiple adjustable buckles and a contoured foam shape help the vest remain stable on active children.

• USCG and Transport Canada Level 70 approval for the specified weight range
• Durable PE foam core for consistent buoyancy
• Four adjustable buckles including a leg strap for a snug, anti-rise fit

How durable and easy to maintain is the vest?

Constructed with polyester outer fabric and a resilient PE foam interior, the GEO is made to withstand repeated use in saltwater and freshwater environments. Routine rinsing and air drying preserve the material and graphics for multiple seasons.

• Polyester shell resists fading, abrasion, and sun exposure
• PE foam retains shape and buoyancy over years of use
• Machine-safe spot cleaning; rinse after saltwater exposure

Which adjustments help achieve the best fit for growing kids?

Adjustability is built into the GEO so you can fine-tune fit as a child grows. The webbing straps and buckles let you tighten or loosen the vest around the chest and hips to prevent slippage while keeping them comfortable.

• Four quick-release buckles that are easy for adults to secure
• Adjustable side and shoulder straps to customize torso fit
• Contoured foam panels to support a secure, upright position in water
