Amarine Made 10.6 x 14.8 inch Boat Hatch Access Door, White, Watertight ABS with 180° Hinge

The Amarine Made 10.6" x 14.8" boat hatch is a rugged, low‑profile marine access door that gives watertight storage and easy 180° access for yachts, sailboats, speedboats, and RVs.

Designed for wet, salty, and vibrating environments, this access hatch pairs impact‑resistant ABS construction with a built‑in rubber seal, a textured slip‑resistant lid, and a full‑open hinge so you can reach underdeck compartments quickly and keep contents dry. Its streamlined look and pre‑drilled countersunk mounting holes make it fast to fit into new builds or retrofits without changing the surrounding surface profile.

How does this hatch keep stored gear dry and protected?

The hatch relies on a molded rubber sealing ring seated inside the lid perimeter that blocks rain, spray, and dust when the cover is closed. ABS plastic resists UV and salt corrosion, helping the unit retain shape and sealing effectiveness over years of exposure.

• Integrated rubber seal for weather protection
• UV‑ and salt‑resistant ABS construction
• Sealed even when mounted vertically
• Non‑slip lid surface reduces water pooling and slippage

Can I open and access the compartment quickly during a cruise?

Yes. The hatch features a 180° full‑open hinge and recessed handles so the lid stays open while you load or unload gear. The smooth action reduces snagging and lets you ventilate the compartment when needed.

• Full‑open hinge for unobstructed access
• Sturdy recessed handles for reliable grip
• Lid can act as a passive ventilation port when open
• Opening size designed to match common storage layouts

What are the installation steps and recommended cutout size?

Installers benefit from pre‑drilled countersunk mounting holes that remove the need for extra drilling or filler work. Align the hatch, fasten with marine‑grade screws, and seal the flange to the deck for a secure fit—installation saved both time and mess.

• Overall dimensions: 14.8" × 10.6" (375 × 270 mm)
• Recommended cutout: 11.6" × 7.8" (295 × 198 mm)
• Opening size: 11.5" × 7.6" (291 × 194 mm)
• Pre‑drilled countersunk holes for fast mounting

Will this hatch fit different boat types and improve onboard layout?

The hatch’s low‑profile, streamlined styling integrates with many hull and deck designs and expands usable storage without drawing attention. It’s equally at home in cockpit lockers, under‑seat storage, small compartment doors, and RV exterior boxes.

• Suitable for yachts, sailboats, speedboats, and RVs
• Modern, discreet aesthetic that complements most decks
• Durable for harsh marine and outdoor use
• Adds accessible storage while maintaining deck lines

Who is this for? Boaters, mounters, and DIY renovators who need a dependable, weather‑resistant access hatch that’s simple to install and built to endure marine conditions will value this Amarine Made hatch. It’s particularly useful for owners who want a neat, low‑profile solution for under‑deck storage, battery compartments, or exterior utility boxes without sacrificing sealing performance or ease of use.
