BABE'S Boat Care Products Clever Cleaner All-Purpose Marine Cleaner, 128 fl oz — Biodegradable, Safe for Gelcoat, Vinyl and Upholstery

Babe’s Clever Cleaner is a concentrated, biodegradable all-purpose marine cleaner that lifts dirt, scum, grease and exhaust residue from gelcoat, vinyl and upholstery without harsh abrasion.

Keeping a boat clean requires products that are both effective and safe for delicate marine finishes. Babe’s Clever Cleaner is formulated to break down oily residues and stubborn grime common on boats while minimizing risk to gelcoat, vinyl seating, and canvas. The low-toxicity blend rinses away easily, making routine maintenance quicker and reducing time spent scrubbing after a long day on the water.

How does Babe’s Clever Cleaner remove oil and fuel stains?

The formula contains targeted surfactants and grease-cutting agents that penetrate oily films and emulsify residues so they lift off the surface instead of spreading. For heavy deposits, the product responds well to gentle agitation with a soft brush, then rinses clean without leaving a filmy residue.

• Emulsifies fuel and oil for simple rinsing
• Safe for use on painted and gelcoat finishes
• Works quickly—spray, agitate if needed, then rinse

Will it damage gelcoat, vinyl, or upholstery?

Babe’s Clever Cleaner is formulated specifically for marine surfaces, balancing cleaning power with material safety. It’s low-toxicity and biodegradable, so when used as directed it won’t strip wax or degrade vinyl or fabric fibers the way harsher solvents can.

• Non-abrasive on gelcoat and painted surfaces
• Gentle on vinyl seats and cushions
• Rinses thoroughly to protect protective finishes

How do I apply it for best results?

The easiest method is a spray-on application: mist the surface, allow a brief dwell time for the formula to work, then wipe or rinse. Stubborn scum, bird droppings, or exhaust staining benefit from light brushing with a soft brush before rinsing.

• Spray directly on the soiled area from several inches away
• Wipe with a microfiber or soft cloth, or brush for deep stains
• Rinse with fresh water and repeat for heavy buildup

Is Babe’s Clever Cleaner environmentally friendly for marine use?

The product is designed to be biodegradable with a low-toxicity profile so it’s more environmentally considerate than solvent-based alternatives. While formulated to minimize harm, always follow local guidelines for washwater discharge and use fresh water rinsing where required by harbor rules.

• Biodegradable ingredients reduce long-term impact
• Low-toxicity formulation compared with harsher cleaners
• Recommended to follow local discharge and harbor regulations
