Diamond Drip Youth Sliding Mitt for Kids Baseball & Softball, Cookies & Cream — Ambidextrous Neoprene and Leather with Hard Impact Pad

Diamond Drip Youth Sliding Mitt is an ambidextrous, neoprene-and-leather sliding mitt with a hard protective pad and playful ice-cream-drip design made to protect kids' hands and wrists during slides.

This youth-size sliding mitt blends colorful personality with practical protection for baseball and softball players. Built from neoprene for comfort and premium leather for durability, the mitt has a rigid impact pad to shield knuckles and palms during aggressive slides. A stretch compression wrist strap keeps the fit secure through practice and games while the ambidextrous shape means one mitt works on either hand, making it easy for families and coaches to use interchangeably.

How does this mitt protect my child when sliding?

The sliding mitt uses a hard-impact pad over the palm and knuckle area to disperse force from contact with dirt, bases, or the ground. The sturdy pad combined with premium leather outerwear reduces abrasion while the neoprene backing cushions the wrist and lower palm. Together these materials lower the risk of scrapes and uncomfortable shocks that can happen on hard slides.

• Hard protective pad positioned over palm and knuckles for impact dispersion
• Premium leather exterior resists abrasion and holds up to repeated slides
• Neoprene backing provides flexible cushioning and comfort
• Compact profile keeps mobility and grip on the throwing hand

Will the mitt stay on during play and fit most kids?

The mitt features a stretchy compression wrist strap that adapts to a wide range of youth wrist sizes and helps maintain a snug fit through sudden movements. Because it’s ambidextrous, the same mitt fits left or right hands, eliminating guesswork and keeping spare gear simple. The design stays compact so it won’t interfere with throws, catches, or running.

• Elastic compression strap secures the mitt for active play
• Ambidextrous design suits left- and right-handed players
Compact cut allows full hand mobility for fielding and throwing
• Easy to slip on and off between innings or drills

How does the Diamond Drip design and materials hold up over time?

The mitt pairs a lively ice-cream-drip print with performance materials chosen for longevity. Premium leather resists surface wear and cleans easily after dirt contact, while the neoprene holds its shape and comfort after repeated stretches. Quality stitching and construction extend the mitt’s lifespan through seasons of use.

• Durable leather face resists scuffs and is easy to wipe clean
• Neoprene backing maintains elasticity and cushioning over time
• Reinforced seams for longer-lasting performance
• Bold print stays visible to help kids express personality on the field

Can this mitt be used for both baseball and softball?

Yes — the mitt is designed for youth baseball and softball players who need sliding protection. Its compact protective pad and ambidextrous fit make it versatile for either sport, whether your child slides into bases or practices aggressive base-running drills. The mitt’s low-profile shape keeps it practical for multi-sport youth teams and recreational leagues.

• Suitable for baseball and softball sliding and base-running
• Low-profile design works with gloves and standard field gear
• Ambidextrous use simplifies gear choices for coaches and families
• Easy to carry in a pocket or equipment bag between plays
