Diamond Drip Youth Baseball Sliding Mitt Midnight Vice, Ambidextrous Youth Sliding Glove with Hard Palm Pad

Diamond Drip's Youth Baseball Sliding Mitt is an ambidextrous, hard-padded sliding glove with a playful ice cream drip design that protects kids' hands and wrists during slides and aggressive plays.

Designed for youth baseball and softball players who want both protection and personality, this sliding mitt blends a neoprene body with premium leather reinforcement and a hard protective pad. The mitt's stretchy compression wrist strap delivers a snug, adjustable fit while the compact profile stows easily in a back pocket or bag. The Midnight Vice colorway pairs bold contrast with a fun ice cream motif so young athletes can stand out on the field without sacrificing safety or mobility.

How does the sliding mitt protect my child during slides?

The mitt uses a hard protective pad over the palm and lower fingers to absorb impact and reduce abrasion when contacting dirt, turf, or bases. Its neoprene fabric and leather-reinforced sections help resist tearing while the strap keeps the mitt from shifting during a slide.

• Hard molded pad shields palm and fingers from direct impact.
• Neoprene body flexes for motion while resisting rips.
• Premium leather reinforcement at wear points prolongs durability.

Will the mitt fit different hand sizes and both hands?

The Youth size is built to be ambidextrous and uses a compression wrist strap to accommodate a range of youth wrist sizes. The stretchy strap and flexible neoprene let the mitt be worn on either the left or right hand without separate left/right models.

• Ambidextrous shape fits either hand for more versatility.
• Adjustable compression strap customizes fit for each player.
• Compact design fits in back pockets or gear bags for easy transport.

How does the Diamond Drip design affect performance on game day?

The eye-catching ice cream drip pattern is purely aesthetic but helps players feel confident and identifiable to coaches and teammates. The pattern is printed on durable materials so it won’t flake or fade quickly with regular play.

• Bold Midnight Vice colors improve visibility on the field.
• Durable print resists wear from dirt and repeated washing.
• Unique look helps kids express personality while playing.

Is this sliding mitt suitable for baseball and softball practices and games?

Yes — the mitt is designed for both baseball and softball youth players who need wrist and palm protection when sliding, stealing bases, or diving. Its rugged materials and reinforced areas withstand routine outdoor use.

• Engineered for frequent sliding at practices and games.
• Materials chosen for abrasion resistance and longevity.
• Easy to clean surface that tolerates dirt and grass stains.
