BELL Infant Sprout Toddler Bike Helmet — Blue Goo, 47–52 cm, True Fit & Pinch Guard

The BELL Sprout Infant Helmet in Blue Goo is a low‑profile toddler bicycle helmet (47–52 cm) with the True Fit adjustment, Pinch Guard buckles, seven vents, and extended rear coverage.

The Sprout is built for the smallest riders who are starting to explore bikes, scooters, trikes and balance bikes. It blends simple one‑step fit adjustment with extra rear head coverage and a child‑friendly design. Constructed to meet U.S. CPSC safety requirements for ages 1 and older, this model focuses on comfortable, secure everyday wear while parents adjust to little heads that grow and change.

How does the True Fit system make sizing easier?

True Fit lets caregivers dial in a secure fit quickly without removing the helmet. A single adjustment point tightens or loosens the internal cradle so the helmet sits evenly and snugly on a toddler’s head.

• One‑step rear dial adjusts fit around a 47–52 cm head circumference.
• Cradle design holds helmet level for consistent coverage.
• Quick to adapt as a child grows, reducing readjustment time.

Are the buckles comfortable and safe for small children?

The Sprout uses BELL’s patented Pinch Guard buckles to minimize skin pinching during fastening. The buckles are easy for adults to operate but shaped to protect tiny fingers when adjusting straps.

• Pinch Guard prevents skin from catching in the buckle mechanism.
• Smooth edges and child‑friendly geometry for safer closing.
• Durable construction resists wear from daily use.

Will the helmet keep my child cool and well covered?

Ventilation and coverage are balanced: seven vents channel airflow across the small scalp while the shell extends lower at the rear for additional protection. The low‑profile shell gives coverage without overwhelming a toddler’s head shape.

• Seven strategically placed vents for continuous airflow.
• Extended rear coverage for better protection of the back of the head.
• Lightweight shell minimizes pressure during longer rides.

What age and head measurements suit this model?

Designed for kids aged 1 and up, the Sprout fits most head circumferences between 47 and 52 cm. Because toddler head sizes vary, always measure before purchasing to ensure proper fit and safe use.

• Recommended for ages 1+; measure head circumference first.
• Fits heads 47–52 cm when adjusted with the True Fit dial.
• Complies with U.S. CPSC standards for bicycle helmets for 1+.
