Bones Super Reds Skateboard Bearings 8-Pack — Pre-Lubricated Speed Cream, Skate-Rated Durability

Bones Super Reds Skateboard Bearings 8 Pack are precision skate-rated bearings pre-lubricated with Speed Cream for fast, reliable rolling and durable performance.

These bearings from Bones are built for skateboarders who want consistent speed, low friction, and easy maintenance without unnecessary complexity. They combine upgraded steel races, improved grade balls, and a nylon retainer to deliver smooth spins under load. Pre-lubricated with Bones’ Speed Cream, the set is ready to install out of the box and designed to meet skate-specific clearances and tolerances for predictable on-board feel.

What makes Super Reds different from generic bearings?

Bones Super Reds are engineered specifically for skate use rather than general industrial bearings. The materials and internal geometry prioritize impact tolerance and sustained speed while the components are selected to reduce friction and wear.

• Higher-quality steel races for improved durability under skate impacts
• Better-grade steel balls for roundness and consistent rolling
• Nylon ball retainer that balances strength with reduced drag
• Skate-rated clearances and pre-applied Speed Cream lubricant

How do these bearings perform straight out of the package?

The eight-pack arrives pre-lubricated and shielded for immediate installation and use. A single, removable rubber shield protects internals but is non-contact to minimize friction, so wheels spin freely while remaining serviceable for cleaning or relubrication.

• Pre-lubricated with Bones Speed Cream for balanced speed and protection
• Removable non-contact rubber shields allow easy maintenance
• Designed for fast spin-up and steady roll under skate loads

Are these bearings easy to maintain and clean?

Yes — maintenance is straightforward because the rubber shields are removable and the internals are accessible. Clean with a bearing solvent, let dry, and reapply a small amount of lubricant to maintain performance and longevity.

• Rubber shields pop out for full cleaning access
• Nylon retainer reduces ball movement during disassembly
• Re-lubricate with Speed Cream or a compatible skate bearing oil

Will Super Reds suit my riding style and board setup?

Super Reds are versatile and appropriate for many styles, from street and park to casual commuting. Their skate-rated construction handles repeated impacts and offers a blend of speed and durability, making them a dependable upgrade over low-cost bearings.

• Ideal for riders wanting consistent speed without complex ceramic conversions
• Works well with standard street and park wheel setups
• Pack of eight covers two complete skateboard wheels plus spares for bearings that need replacement

Who is this for? Bones Super Reds Skateboard Bearings 8 Pack is aimed at skaters who want reliable, pre-lubricated bearings that balance speed, durability, and easy maintenance. Choose them if you value skate-specific tolerances, removable shields for cleaning, and a trusted brand with a long history in skateboard hardware. They’re a practical choice for beginners upgrading from generic bearings and for experienced skaters wanting predictable performance without extra fuss.
