Bridgestone Golf Tour B RX golf balls — Prior Generation Yellow, REACTIV X distance and soft short-game feel

Bridgestone's Prior Generation Tour B RX Yellow MindSet blends advanced multi-layer construction with REACTIV iQ Smart Cover Technology and the XCLRNT mid-layer to produce more rebound off the driver and improved spin and feel on approach shots. This yellow edition adds high visibility for easier tracking in flight and faster locating on the course. It’s built for players who want a balance of explosive distance and reliable short-game performance without sacrificing feel.

How does the REACTIV X System increase distance on tee shots?

The REACTIV X System combines an energetic XCLRNT mid-layer with the responsive REACTIV iQ Smart Cover to amplify energy return at higher compression impacts, producing intensified rebound on long shots. This results in faster ball speed off the clubface, which translates into measurable additional yardage when struck well from the tee.

• REACTIV iQ Smart Cover responds dynamically to swing speed for optimized rebound.
• XCLRNT mid-layer stores and releases energy for added ball velocity.
• Multi-layer construction tuned to maintain launch and reduce spin where unwanted.

What changes will I notice around the green with these balls?

The REACTIV X System is designed to stay on the face longer during approach and short-game shots, producing higher spin rates and a noticeably softer feel on contact. That combination helps with stopping power and control on chips, pitches, and putts without compromising overall durability.

• Increased short-game spin for better stopping on greens.
• Soft, responsive feel on pitch and chip shots.
• Consistent behavior on full and partial shots for predictable distance control.

Which players benefit most from the Tour B RX MindSet?

These balls suit golfers who prioritize added tee-shot distance while still needing dependable greenside performance. Mid- to high-handicap players and advancing amateurs will find the amplified rebound helpful for extra yardage, while the softer short-game response supports better scoring around the hole.

• Players seeking a balance of distance and feel.
• Golfers who want high-visibility yellow for tracking flight.
• Competitors and serious amateurs who value consistent performance across shots.

How does the Prior Generation Tour B RX compare to other Bridgestone models?

Compared with firmer, lower-spin tour models, the Tour B RX focuses on rebound and a softer short-game feel by using the XCLRNT mid-layer and REACTIV cover. It sits between pure distance models and traditional tour balls, offering a middle ground of added velocity plus better spin and feel around the green.

• More rebound and distance than many standard tour balls.
• Softer approach and greenside feel than firmer, driver-focused designs.
• Yellow finish for visibility where other models offer white only.

Who is this for: Bridgestone Golf Prior Generation Tour B RX Yellow MindSet is aimed at golfers who want measurable extra distance from the tee without sacrificing the short-game control needed to lower scores. It’s a solid choice for improving amateurs, competitive weekend players, and anyone who prefers a high-visibility ball that performs consistently across full swings and delicate shots.
