Champion Sports Youth Size Pitchers Plate w/Anchor, Molded Rubber 18" x 4" for Youth

Built for frequent use on outdoor mounds, this white youth pitcher’s plate combines weather-resistant molded rubber with a sturdy removable anchor so teams can install, remove, and relocate the plate quickly. Offered in a youth size (18"L x 4"W) and an official size (24"L x 6"W), the plate is designed to resist cleat wear and stay locked in place through practice and game conditions.

How does the removable in-ground anchor improve pitching consistency?

The included metal anchor fastens the plate securely into the mound so the strip doesn’t shift underfoot. A fixed plate reduces the need for constant adjustments, letting pitchers focus on mechanics instead of footing.

• Removable metal anchor screws into the ground and locks the plate in place.
• Quick installation and removal for shared or multi-field use.
• Holds position against cleat traction and rainy conditions.

What makes the molded rubber construction suited for outdoor use?

Molded rubber offers a dense, grippy surface that stands up to repetitive cleat contact and varying weather. The material is formulated to resist tearing and abrasion, so the plate maintains shape and traction over seasons.

• Heavy-duty rubber resists wear from spikes and muddy conditions.
• Weather-resistant composition for rain and sun exposure.
• Maintains consistent tactile feedback for pitchers during training.

Which size should I choose for youth teams and beginner pitchers?

The Youth plate (18" x 4") is sized for younger players learning proper stride and release, while the Official plate (24" x 6") fits standard competitive play. Choose the youth size to match league regulations and to provide an appropriately scaled target for developing mechanics.

• Youth: 18" long x 4" wide—optimized for little leaguers and practice sessions.
• Official: 24" long x 6" wide—for high-school and adult-level fields.
• Select the size used in league play for consistent practice translation.

How does this plate perform during team practices and games?

Designed for frequent use, the plate’s construction and secure anchoring make it suitable for both drills and competitive play. Teams can expect minimal shifting, simple maintenance, and long service life under typical field conditions.

• Durable in repeated practice scenarios and weekend games.
• Easy to anchor, remove, and relocate between fields.
• Low maintenance—clean off dirt and re-anchor as needed.

Who is this for: Coaches, recreation leagues, schools, parks, and youth baseball or softball teams that need a reliable, weather-ready pitching plate. It’s ideal for programs that want a consistent pitching surface for skill development and game preparation, while also valuing the convenience of a removable anchor for field management.
