Franklin Sports Bristle Dartboard - Wire Dartboard, 18" Regulation Sisal with Steel Wire Dividers and Mounting Bracket

The Franklin Sports Bristle Dartboard is an 18" regulation, pro-quality sisal dartboard with steel wire dividers and a mounting bracket for authentic home play.

Bring a regulation-style dartboard into your home, garage, rec room, or office with a durable board built for frequent play. This Franklin Sports model uses a self-healing sisal surface and solid steel wiring to mimic the feel and scoring zones of club-grade boards while keeping maintenance and bounce-outs to a minimum. The included wall bracket and high-contrast printed number ring make setup and scoring straightforward for casual players and league practice alike.

How does the sisal surface affect play and longevity?

The board uses a self-healing sisal fiber face that closes around dart holes, extending the lifespan and keeping the surface tight for consistent flight and stick. That dense sisal reduces visible wear and helps reduce torn sections that can distort scoring areas over time. This means fewer replacements and steady performance session after session.

• Self-healing sisal minimizes hole expansion for longer life
• Dense fiber provides consistent dart penetration and retention
• Less maintenance than paper or cork alternatives

What makes the steel wire configuration better for accuracy?

Franklin Sports fits the board with solid steel wire dividers that create precise scoring segments and reduce bounce-outs compared with thin, fragile wiring. The sturdy wires keep boundaries clear and provide that tactile feedback players expect from a pro-style board. The wiring layout helps darts settle into the intended segment more reliably, improving scoring consistency across sessions.

• Solid steel dividers for clear, durable scoring borders
• Reduced bounce-outs compared with flimsy wires
• Authentic segment layout for competitive practice

How easy is it to read scores and mount the board?

A printed number ring offers high contrast numerals visible from a typical playing distance, so scorekeeping is faster and less error-prone. The package includes a steel wall bracket that secures the board at your chosen height, making installation quick and stable. Together these features simplify set up and keep the game flowing.

• High-contrast printed numbers for quick score checks
• Included steel wall bracket for secure mounting
• Regulation 18" diameter fits standard playing distances

What accessories or settings pair best with this dartboard?

This board pairs well with soft- or steel-tip darts depending on the model and local rules; check your dart tips for compatibility with bristle faces. Add a scoreboard, protective cabinet, or surround to protect walls and catch errant throws. It’s also suited for tournament practice, casual home play, or as part of a game-room setup.

• Use regulation steel-tip darts for true bristle play
• Consider a protective surround or cabinet for wall safety
• Scoreboard or electronic tally complements competitive sessions
