FZZD Trailer Tongue Weight Scale 2000 lb Capacity, Black, Heavy-Duty Under-Coupler Readout

The FZZD Trailer Tongue Weight Scale is a heavy-duty, easy-to-use coupler scale that measures up to 2000 lb to help you confirm trailer tongue load and improve towing balance.

Before you hitch up, knowing the actual tongue weight can make towing safer and more predictable. The FZZD scale is a portable, no-installation tool designed to sit under most standard couplers and deliver a fast, clear reading so you can adjust cargo, reposition gear, or redistribute weight. Built from coated carbon steel and upgraded to a 2000 lb capacity, this scale is aimed at RVs, boats, campers, cargo trailers, and small utility trailers.

How will this scale help me prepare for a trip?

Measuring tongue weight before you tow helps you balance the trailer and can reduce sway and poor handling. The FZZD scale gives a straightforward numeric readout so you can make adjustments—rearrange cargo, move heavy items forward or back, or shift ballast—before hitting the road.

• Quick under-coupler placement for a near-instant reading
• 2000 lb capacity covers most common trailer tongue loads
• Clear, reliable measurement to guide cargo redistribution

How easy is it to use the FZZD tongue weight scale?

No tools, no installation: set the scale on a level surface, back the coupler over it, and lower the trailer until the coupler rests on the scale. Read the displayed weight and lift the trailer off the scale when finished; the simple operation saves time during pre-trip checks.

• No assembly required—ready straight from the box
• Designed to fit most standard couplers for broad compatibility
• Single-operator friendly for quick inspections

Is this scale durable enough for outdoor use?

The unit is made from heavy-duty carbon steel with a protective coated finish to resist wear from regular towing use and outdoor storage. Its robust construction maintains consistent performance over many trips when handled and stored properly.

• Coated carbon steel resists corrosion and surface damage
• Built to tolerate routine loading and linking operations
• Stable platform minimizes rocking for more accurate readings

Which trailers and couplers will this work with?

FZZD engineered this scale to be compatible with a wide range of towing setups including travel trailers, pop-up campers, boat trailers, cargo haulers, and small utility trailers. It is intended for standard-size couplers; always confirm fit and weight range for your specific trailer type before reliance.

• Fits most standard coupler shapes and sizes commonly used
• Ideal for small-to-medium trailers needing up to 2000 lb measurement
• Not intended for oversized commercial hitches or specialized fifth-wheel systems

Who is this for? The FZZD Trailer Tongue Weight Scale is aimed at weekend RVers, boat owners, DIY haulers, and anyone who wants a fast, reliable tongue-weight check before towing. If you load cargo, tow seasonally, or care about trailer handling and safety, this portable scale provides a simple way to verify tongue load and make adjustments. Note: during the product update some packaging may still display the previous 1800 lb marking; the internal capacity has been upgraded to 2000 lb.
