Giro Vivid Vanquish Replacement Shield — Silver tint, polycarbonate clarity, Roc Loc Air DH fit

The Giro Vivid Vanquish Replacement Shield in Silver is a direct-fit replacement lens for Giro Vanquish helmets that restores clear, high-contrast vision and wind protection.

If your Vanquish helmet’s original visor is scratched, damaged, or you simply want the cooler silver tint for bright days, this replacement shield swaps in quickly and preserves the helmet’s optical performance. Designed to integrate with Giro’s Vanquish shell and Roc Loc Air DH fit system, the shield uses a hardened polycarbonate surface for impact resistance and an inner construction that maintains excellent visual clarity and aerodynamics.

How does this shield improve on a worn or scratched visor?

Replacing a degraded visor restores image clarity, reduces distracting light scatter, and improves your ability to see terrain and road detail. The Vivid Silver shield is manufactured to tight optical standards so images remain true and undistorted.

• Precision-molded polycarbonate lens for minimal distortion
• Silver tint to reduce glare in bright conditions
• Compatibility with Vanquish mounting points for secure fit
• Durable finish resists minor abrasion and environmental wear

What optical and material features should I expect from the silver Vivid lens?

The lens is produced from in-mold polycarbonate that balances impact resistance with consistent optical quality. An EPS-compatible inner structure reference indicates the shield integrates with the helmet’s safety-focused build without altering protective layers.

• In-mold polycarbonate construction for strength and clarity
• Engineered to maintain low optical distortion across the field of view
• Tinted silver finish for high-light environments and reduced glare
• Surface treatments that improve scratch tolerance and cleaning ease

How does the shield perform across different riding conditions?

The silver-tinted Vivid shield excels on sunny or variable-brightness days by cutting glare and enhancing contrast without drastically darkening mid-tones. It’s a versatile option when you need reliable vision whether sprinting, climbing, or riding fast descents.

• Optimized tint for bright light and reflective surfaces
• Maintains situational awareness with broad peripheral clarity
• Suitable for road cycling and fast recreational use
