Great Call Athletics Wrestling Face Guard — Universal Black Ear Guard, Low-Profile Clip-On Protection for Nose & Cheeks

Great Call Athletics Wrestling Face Guard is a universal black ear guard that clips onto most wrestling headgear to protect the face while maintaining clear vision and a secure fit.

Train and compete with confidence using a face shield built to pair with popular headgear models. This accessory fastens quickly to Response, Cliff Keen E58, Matman Original & Classic and similar helmets, creating a barrier that helps reduce contact and abrasion to vulnerable facial areas like the nose, cheekbones and orbital region. It balances visibility, durability and comfort so you can focus on technique rather than equipment.

How does this guard attach to my existing headgear?

The guard uses universal mounting points and flexible clips designed to line up with common ear cup shapes and bolt locations. Installation takes seconds and requires no special tools, so you can switch between training and competition quickly.

• Flexible clip geometry fits many ear cup designs
• Tool-free snap-on/snap-off attachment
• Low-profile mount keeps the guard close to the face

Will the face guard block my vision during matches?

It’s crafted to maximize forward and peripheral sight, keeping view obstruction to a minimum while still providing a protective barrier. The open design and clear sightlines allow you to track opponents and the mat without sacrificing protection.

• Low-profile frame preserves peripheral vision
• Strategic cutouts avoid interference with eye line
• Matte black finish reduces glare under arena lights

What level of protection and durability can I expect?

Manufactured from impact-resistant materials, the guard resists scratches and contact common in wrestling and BJJ. While not a medical device, it helps shield facial areas from direct strikes, friction burns and incidental contact that occur during grappling.

• Sturdy polymer construction for repeated impacts
• Scratch-resistant surface keeps visibility clear
• Rugged build designed for daily training use

Is it comfortable for long training sessions?

The guard is engineered to stay in place without causing pressure points, letting you train longer without distraction. Padding and the fit profile work together to reduce rubbing and ensure the accessory moves with your headgear.

• Low-contact edges reduce chafing during drills
• Secure fit prevents shifting in live sparring
• Lightweight construction minimizes added bulk

Who is this for: Wrestlers, BJJ athletes and coaches seeking an easy-to-add protective solution for facial injuries or to prevent them. Ideal for competitors recovering from nose or orbital injuries who need added coverage, clubs that want simple protective upgrades for shared headgear, and any grappler who wants better facial protection without sacrificing sight or comfort.

• Compatible models: Response, Cliff Keen E58, Matman Original & Classic and similar headgear
• Color: Black
• Designed by wrestlers for practical, tool-free use
