Hicarer 12" Heavy Duty Screw Tent Stakes, Orange, 20 Pack — Carbon Steel, Glow Caps

Hicarer 20 Pcs 12" heavy duty screw tent stakes are bright orange spiral ground anchors that secure tents, canopies and inflatables with a glowing top for easy night visibility.

These 12-inch spiral tent stakes come in a 20-piece set plus a hex-head driver for quick installation. Made from carbon steel with a plastic glowing cap, they combine strength with visibility so you can anchor outdoor gear in grass, dirt and firm soils. The threaded design bites into the ground for superior holding power compared with straight pins, making them useful for camping, yard inflatables and seasonal decorations.

How do these screw stakes hold up in windy conditions?

The spiral shaft grips soil along its entire length, spreading force across more ground and resisting pull-out better than smooth stakes. Their 12-inch length and roughly 8-inch threaded portion offer deeper anchoring for tents and medium-sized inflatables.

• 12-inch total length for deeper embedment
• About 8-inch spiral thread to increase surface contact
• Carbon steel body for rigidity under load
• Use with a driver for consistent, tight installation

Can I use these stakes in different soil types and settings?

They work well in grass, packed dirt and firmer soils where the spiral can cut and hold. They are not optimal for loose sand; for sandy beaches you’ll want wider, paddle-style anchors instead. The pointed tip and helical flute help place them quickly in common outdoor soils.

• Recommended: grass, compacted dirt, clay and firm loam
• Not recommended: loose sandy beaches or extremely rocky ground
• Useful for tents, tarps, canopies, inflatables and leash points

What features make these stakes convenient to use at night?

Each stake has a luminescent plastic cap that soaks up light and glows after exposure, reducing trip hazards and helping you find anchor points in low light. The bright orange color also increases daytime visibility for quick location and reduces lost stakes when decorating or packing up.

• Glow-cap visibly marks stake tops after brief light exposure
• Vivid orange finish aids daytime spotting and loss prevention
• Hex-head driver included to speed installation and removal

What tools and safety steps are recommended for installation?

These stakes are designed to be driven with the supplied 0.51" hex driver and a cordless drill or impact driver for fast, controlled insertion. Wear gloves and keep stakes away from children; pointed tips and metal parts can injure if handled carelessly.

• Included: one 0.51" hex head driver for power tools
• Use a cordless drill or impact driver for best speed and torque
• Wear protective gloves and store out of reach of children

Who is this for? These Hicarer screw tent stakes suit campers, event hosts and homeowners who need dependable anchors for medium outdoor gear. They’re a practical pick if you want reusable, rust-resistant anchors that are easy to install with a power tool and visible after dark. If you often secure seasonal inflatables, pop-up canopies or tarps in park or backyard settings, this 20-piece kit provides a ready supply with a driver included for rapid setup and removal.
