HIVIZ Competition Fiber Optic Front Sight for Vent-Rib Shotguns — PM1002 with Interchangeable LitePipes, Kit Included

The HIVIZ PM1002 Competition Fiber Optic Sight is a replaceable front shotgun sight with interchangeable LitePipes to make target acquisition faster and more consistent.

Designed for shooters who want a brighter, customizable aiming reference on vent-rib shotguns, the PM1002 swaps in for many factory front beads and uses fiber-optic LitePipes for high-visibility contrast in varied light. It’s built to fit most vent-rib shotguns that accept a removable front bead and ships with a carrying case and multiple LitePipes so you can tune color and thickness to match your eye, ammunition patterning, and shooting conditions.

How does the PM1002 improve sighting compared with a standard bead?

The PM1002 replaces the small metal bead with a guided fiber-optic element that gathers ambient light to create a bright, easy-to-see aiming point. The larger visual reference helps you pick a consistent head-up alignment and reduces the time spent finding the bead during follow-up shots.

• Interchangeable LitePipes boost visibility in low or bright light.
• Varied diameters let you choose a fine or bold aiming point.
• Color options improve contrast against different backgrounds.
• Designed for quick target acquisition and consistent alignment.

What comes in the kit and how do I customize the sight?

The PM1002 kit includes the CompSight front housing, eight LitePipes in multiple colors and diameters, and a small carrying case to keep extras organized. Swapping LitePipes is straightforward: remove the installed pipe and press the replacement into the housing to change color or thickness on the fly.

• Eight LitePipes provide color and size options for different lighting.
• Carrying case protects spare pipes and simplifies transport.
• Tool-free changes let you tailor the sight at the range or in the field.
• Multiple diameters suit personal aiming preferences and target sizes.

Will the PM1002 fit my shotgun and how should it be installed?

The PM1002 is made to fit most vent-rib shotguns that accept a removable front bead, but muzzle-to-rib dimensions and dovetail tolerances vary by firearm. HIVIZ recommends professional gunsmith installation for dovetail sights to ensure proper alignment and secure fit; minor fitting may be necessary on some guns.

• Fits most vent-rib shotguns with removable front bead.
• Gunsmith installation recommended for dovetail fittings.
• Some firearms might need light fitting due to manufacturing tolerances.
• Proper installation preserves accuracy and sight longevity.

Who benefits most from this fiber-optic front sight?

This sight is ideal for trap, skeet, sporting clays competitors and any shotgun shooter who wants a brighter, customizable front reference. It suits shooters who change conditions or prefer to test different LitePipe colors and diameters to match personal sight picture and target presentation.

• Competitive clay shooters seeking faster target acquisition.
• Recreational shooters wanting improved visibility over a metal bead.
• Users who like to experiment with color and size for best contrast.
• Anyone with a vent-rib shotgun and a removable front bead.

Who is this for: The HIVIZ PM1002 Competition Fiber Optic Sight is aimed at shooters who want a bright, adaptable front sight for vent-rib shotguns—especially those who compete or shoot regularly and value quick target pickup and the ability to fine-tune sight appearance. If your shotgun accepts a removable front bead and you value a visible, customizable aiming point, the PM1002 offers a straightforward upgrade with multiple LitePipe options and a compact carrying case for spares.
