HolyElks Youth Baseball Sliding Mitt Flags, Youth hand guard with reinforced palm padding and breathable neoprene

HolyElks Baseball Sliding Mitt is a youth hand guard built to protect palms during slides with reinforced cushioning and a breathable neoprene fit.

When young players slide into bases, the hands take a lot of impact and abrasion. The HolyElks Youth Sliding Mitt pairs thick protective panels with a flexible, breathable body so players can slide more confidently while keeping mobility and comfort. It’s designed for repeated use, with durable materials and extra reinforcement where contact and wear are most likely.

How does this mitt reduce palm injuries?

The mitt places concentrated padding over the palm and base of the hand to absorb impact and reduce direct friction with the ground. Rigid inserts inside the liner help disperse force, while thick outer panels resist abrasion during dirt or turf slides.

• Layered cushioning at palm and heel to absorb shock
• Embedded aluminum-style bars in the liner for force distribution
• Abrasion-resistant composite panels on top and bottom

Will it stay secure while moving and sliding?

The mitt uses an elastic wrist strap and a contoured shape so it stays in place during dynamic plays without restricting wrist movement. The fit is snug enough for running, catching, and quick hand placement, yet simple to remove between innings.

• Adjustable elastic wrist strap for a locked-in fit
• Contoured ergonomic shape for natural hand motion
• Lightweight construction limits bulk while sliding

Is the sliding mitt comfortable in warm weather?

HolyElks designed the mitt from breathable neoprene and soft inner linings to promote airflow and reduce heat buildup during long games. The materials wick moisture and stay flexible, helping players maintain feel and comfort through multiple plays.

• Soft, breathable neoprene body for ventilation
• Moisture-wicking inner lining to keep hands drier
• Flexible panels that move with the hand

How durable is this mitt for season-long use?

Constructed with reinforced composite panels and heavy-duty seams, the mitt is built to handle frequent slides and field contact. Special treatments and internal protective pieces increase longevity, so it resists wear across repeated practices and games.

• Thickened composite panels resist tearing and abrasion
• Reinforced stitching in high-stress areas
• Durable internal inserts to maintain protective shape
