How do the wheel lights work and what makes them special?

The Chroma’s wheels light up automatically when the scooter moves, creating a vivid, multicolor trail that encourages outdoor play and improves visibility. The lighting is integrated into the wheels so there are no external batteries to worry about, and the effect changes with speed and motion for an engaging visual show.

• Motion-activated multicolor LEDs built into each wheel
• No separate wiring or exposed lights to damage
• Bright, varying colors that activate while rolling
• Improves visibility for early evening or dim conditions

Is the Hover-1 Chroma sturdy and comfortable for kids?

The Chroma combines a durable construction with kid-friendly ergonomics: a wide 23.6" x 5.1" deck gives feet room to position comfortably, and the handlebars adjust to match your child’s height. Solid wheels reduce maintenance and deliver a consistent glide on sidewalks and paved surfaces, while the overall design supports longer-term use as your child grows.

• 23.6" x 5.1" deck for stable footing and balance
• Adjustable-height handlebars to extend the scooter’s usable life
• Solid wheels that don’t need inflation or frequent repairs
• 110 lb weight capacity for bigger kids and siblings

How safe is stopping and control on the Chroma?

Stopping is intuitive thanks to the rear foot brake, giving children an easy, familiar method to reduce speed and come to a full stop. The scooter’s larger front wheels increase stability and help roll smoothly over small cracks or uneven pavement, making turns and quick maneuvers more manageable for young riders.

• Manual rear foot brake for quick, reliable stops
• 3" front wheels for added balance and smoother rides
• Lightweight frame for simple handling and control
• Low deck height that aids balance and safe mounting

Can this scooter fold and travel easily?

Yes — the Hover-1 Chroma folds down for compact storage and easier transport, letting families take it to parks, school drop-offs or on trips without taking up much space in a trunk. The folding design also makes storing the scooter in closets or tight garage spots straightforward.

• Quick folding mechanism for compact storage
• Lightweight construction simplifies carrying
• Fits readily into car trunks and small storage areas
