Howies Pro Grip & Stretch Hockey Tape 4-Pack, White – Durable Stick Tape for Hockey Players, Strong Hold

Howies Pro Grip or Stretch Hockey Tape 4 Pack is a premium stick tape choice that gives players durable, high-traction grip—available in a stretchy gauze for cushion or a no-stretch pro mesh for maximum tack.

Whether you favor a cushioned, flexible wrap or a razor‑textured professional bond, this four-pack of white Howies tape is built for repeated use across practices and games. Both variants use an abrasive mesh surface to enhance glove-to-stick contact and a self-adhering design to stay secure without extra adhesives. The result is dependable feel, quick application and long-lasting performance on ice or turf.

How do I choose between the Stretch and Pro options?

Pick the Stretch version if you want more give, a softer handle and a bit of shock absorption. Choose the Pro no-stretch if you prioritize the firmest grip and the most direct connection between your hands and the blade—favored by players who demand aggressive puck control.

• Stretch: flexible gauze, cushioning, forgiving on contact
• Pro: coarse mesh, rigid bond, maximum tack
• Both: abrasive surface for better stick feel
• Available in a four-pack for practice rotation and backups

How does this tape affect stick handling and shot control?

The tape’s rough mesh increases friction between the glove and the stick, improving tactile feedback and making quick dekes and precise passes easier. Pro players often rely on that heightened connection to fine-tune puck placement and wrist shot accuracy during fast plays.

• Enhanced grip for improved puck control
• Consistent feel across shifts and sessions
• Supports faster release and steadier wrist shots
• Durability that preserves feel game after game

Will the tape stay on through heavy play and wet conditions?

Yes—Howies tape uses a self-adhering construction that wraps snugly and resists loosening under stress. Both versions are designed to perform in practice or competitive settings, maintaining hold through sweat, rough contact and variable ice or turf surfaces.

• Self-adhering wrap requires no glue or extra fasteners
• Engineered to resist unraveling during shifts and checks
• Maintains consistent tack even when wet
• Four-pack provides quick replacements when needed

How easy is it to apply and remove the tape?

Application is quick: tear a length, wrap from butt end toward the blade, and press to set—no adhesives required. Removal is straightforward too; the tape peels off cleanly so you can re-tape between periods or sessions without damage to the grip surface.

• Easy-tear construction for fast application
• Wraps tightly without slipping while you tape
• Cleans off without leaving sticky residue
• Reusable technique: cut new lengths or layer for custom thickness

It suits weekend warriors who need durability, junior players learning control, and elite athletes who demand the purest connection between hand and stick.
