ISURE MARINE 11 lb/5 kg Stainless Steel Delta Boat Anchor, 316 Marine-Grade, One-Piece Triangular Plow

ISURE MARINE's 11 lb stainless steel Delta (wing) anchor is a single-piece, triangular boat anchor engineered to deliver strong holding power and corrosion resistance for small to midsize vessels.

Built from highly polished 316 stainless steel, this Delta-style anchor combines a streamlined shape with a one-piece construction to dig in quickly and hold reliably across a wide range of seabeds. Its smooth, rust-resistant finish minimizes maintenance and looks good on deck while resisting the corrosive effects of saltwater. The anchor’s triangular plow-like profile offers efficient penetration and steady holding, making it a practical choice for cruisers, day-boaters, and anglers who want durable hardware that performs in mud, sand, rock, and coral.

How does the Delta shape improve anchoring performance?

The triangular (Delta or wing) profile is designed to orient and penetrate the bottom as soon as tension is applied, giving consistent set and high holding power. Unlike multi-piece anchors, the one-piece stainless construction maintains alignment and transfers load evenly, reducing the chance of shifting under changing winds or currents.

• Fast, reliable setting in mud, sand, and mixed bottoms
• One-piece design minimizes mechanical failure points
• Broad face provides steady resistance against sideways pull
• Smooth finish reduces fouling and eases retrieval

Will this anchor resist corrosion and last in saltwater?

The anchor is fabricated from 316 stainless steel, chosen for its elevated resistance to chloride-induced corrosion compared with standard stainless alloys. A polished surface further helps shed salt and marine growth, lowering upkeep and preserving appearance over time.

• 316 stainless steel resists pitting in marine environments
• High-polish finish simplifies cleaning and inspection
• Solid construction avoids coatings that can chip or fail

What seabeds and boat sizes is the 11 lb model suited for?

The 11 lb Delta anchor is sized for small to medium recreational boats and performs well in common seabed types: mud, sand, small rock, and coral patches. Its holding capability makes it a versatile all-purpose anchor for day cruising, anchoring near shore, or temporary stops.

• Effective in mud, sand, mixed bottoms, and some rocky areas
• Suitable for dinghies, runabouts, and many small to medium boats
• Good option as a primary or secondary anchor depending on vessel weight

How do I maintain and install the anchor for best results?

Regular rinsing with fresh water after saltwater use keeps the stainless surface clean and helps spot early signs of wear. Attach the correct length and type of rode, use proper shackles and chain where recommended, and stow securely in the bow roller or anchor locker to prevent deck damage.

• Rinse after each outing and inspect for nicks or deformation
• Use appropriate chain and swivel to improve set and prevent twist
• Secure with a bow roller or padded cradle to protect hull and anchor
